6:15am - Check-in & Bib Allocation Opens (bibs are not mailed out).

6:45am - Race Briefing & Group Photo.

7:00am - All Distances Start.

Event email with all relevant details is sent to all registered runners in the week leading up to race day. Registration closes noon 3 days before each event date (unless extended). If you register during the registration extension if it happens, then you may receive a generic finisher medal in place of the fully engraved event medal. Every runner/walker receives a finisher medal for every distance at every event.

Course for this event will be an AIMS measured flat 10.55km loop course on the coastal bike/walk path.

Welcome back to the 11th running of our popular Western Coastal Running Festival.

The event held at the marathon capital of Australia is run along the coastal bike/walk path starting from Semaphore South.

The course is an AIMS measured 10.55km loop. The start/finish is in the middle so you're never more than approx 5km from our aid station.

Distances on offer include 5km, 10km, 15km, 21.1km half marathon & 30kms.

A 7:00am start for all distances. Race bib and finisher medal INCLUDED for all distances.

"WESTERN" theme for this event with trophy awarded to the person who best represents this theme as voted on by all in attendance.

Part proceeds to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) to help #endcancer.

Virtual Run -

Available for all events. Must be run on the actual event day at a convenient time and location of your own choosing. Includes race bib and finisher medal which would require collection when convenient as we do not post items. You will need to record your run on Strava or the like showing "elapsed" or "total" time, not "moving" time. Please send your run link or a screenshot to coastalfunruns to be included in online published results. Enjoy the journey as being Virtual means no cut-off time. All virtual runs regardless of distance at set at a fixed price of $25.00.

All "coastalfunruns" full marathon courses are measured to equal a total distance of 42.195kms (42.2kms).

Depending on the location they will contain any of the following..

an out and back 21.1km loop, a point to point 42.195km, 6 x 7.0325km loops, 4 x 10.0km loops with an added 2.20km section or 4 x 10.55km loops.

The Seaside Coastal event is back for it's 11th year and proudly supporting the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) to help #endcancer.
