The Armidale Running Festival is more than just a race weekend – it's a celebration of community, movement, and everything that makes Armidale special. With events for all ages and abilities, from a 1-kilometre Kids Dash to a half marathon, it invites everyone to get involved and experience the beauty of the high-altitude landscape.

But the festival goes far beyond the track. Held in the heart of town at Civic Park, the event will feature live music, local food, community stalls, and a massive market – the biggest the region has ever seen. With kids' activities, play areas, picnic zones, and space to relax, it's designed as a full-day experience for families, locals, and visitors alike.

The running schedule includes a 1-kilometre free fun run for kids, followed by 3-kilometre, 5-kilometre, and 10-kilometre runs on Saturday, with the half marathon taking place on Sunday. These options offer something for every fitness level and make the weekend inclusive and accessible for all.

This is Armidale on show – welcoming, active, and full of heart.

Where are you starting the ride from?

This year, we are giving Riders a couple of options to start the ride.

    • Armidale (Day 1 - Thursday)

    • Ebor (Day 2 - Friday)

If you decide to start the ride from Ebor (Day 2 - Friday) you will still need to attend and complete your registration at Armidale on Thursday morning before heading to Ebor to camp on Thursday night.

EVERYONE still needs to attend Armidale, on Thursday morning, for Registration and the campsite at Ebor, on Thursday night. This is so everyone is aware of the ride schedule, requirements and, most importantly, the safety information and briefings.

Choose from two ways to register and participate in compulsory fundraising:

    • Donation. Make an upfront Tax Deductible Donation.

    • Registration and Fundraising. You will need to share and promote your Fundraising Page (that will be set up for you as part of the Registration Process) and raise $250 through social media fundraising, your family, friends and work colleagues.

    Make your payment:

    • Finalise your registration by making your payment by Credit Card.

    • No refunds or transfers will be processed after registrations close.

    Family Discounts

    • When you register a family of 4 or more (minimum of 2 Adults and 2 Students / Children) upon completing your registration you will receive a $250 discount.
