This year, all additional funds raised from the event will go toward establishing the Ana Molnar Foundation. Inspired by Ana’s life and spirit, this foundation will be dedicated to supporting families navigating the hardships of pediatric cancer. Our goal is to offer tangible help, emotional support, and a sense of community to those who need it most. No child should ever have to face such a devastating illness without support—and through this foundation, they won’t have to.

We are looking forward to another wonderful race this year! This year the spirit and celebration of 13th Annual Harvest Hustle 5K is back! The race is scheduled to begin at 8 am. Over the years together, we have raised over $35,000.00 and have collected thousands of pounds of food to help the families of our community. We are very proud the proceeds will benefit Niles Family Services Food Pantry in supporting all those families in need by raising money through the fee to participate and donations.

    Race Information:

    • Race Time: 8 am

    • Location Start/Finish: At Notre Dame College Prep High School, 7655 Dempster St. Niles, IL 60714

    • Awards: Each Participant will receive a Participation Medal, picked up at the race.

Why is it so important to support the Niles Family Services Food Pantry?

    • In our community there are many people, young, elderly and in-between, who do not have the resources to feed themselves or their families adequately.

    • The Niles Family Services exists to aid those who need food, especially on an emergency basis. We want to make sure that every person has the food they need to sustain themselves.

    Current Food Pantry Needs:

    • The highest priority need for donations to the food pantry right now are cleaning supplies.

    • Also needed are paper plates, plastic utensils, and cups.

    • If you prefer to donate food items, the most useful items are canned fruit, canned vegetables, tuna, cereals (individual sized), oatmeal, crackers, rice, peanut butter, jelly, Chef Boyardee cans, chili, and pasta sauce.
