Run Dem Crew, founded in 2007 by DJ and youth mentor Charlie Dark, has grown from a small East London group into a diverse community of over 500 runners united by a shared passion for movement and creativity. Rejecting traditional running club formality, the crew emphasizes inclusivity, mentorship, and empowerment, offering a family-like atmosphere where runners of all abilities support each other’s growth. Meeting weekly near Spitalfields Market, members explore London’s iconic streets—from the Thames to Hyde Park—turning runs into vibrant social and cultural experiences. Be More You is a remarkable and essential community founded in London in October 2018 with a clear and powerful mission: to support runners, communities, and crews around the world with positive mental health and guidance. Stemming from a heartfelt conversation between its founders, Rob Ellis and Sha Hussain, the group has become a beacon of hope and a safe space in the running community. They operate under the welcoming motto, "No one belongs here more than you." Uniquely, they don't host regular fixed runs; instead, they work with other crews in London and internationally, hosting workshops, talks, and shakeout runs to spread their message.
