Hartness Triathlon

The Greenville (SC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated proudly presents the Walk It Owt 5K Run/Walk, a community-centered event supporting heart health awareness. Join us on Saturday, April 18, 2026, as we walk, run, and cheer together in this timed 5K to support individuals and families impacted by cardiovascular disease. Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Heart Association.

The event will take place on the Swamp Rabbit Trail Green Line in Greenville, SC. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome bring your friends, family, and community spirit!

Join us for the Transplant Trot 5K and 1 mile fun run, an event dedicated to raising awareness about supporting local transplant patients and organ donation. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, this event is perfect for everyone who wants to make a difference in the lives of those awaiting transplants.

All proceeds will go to the Prisma Health Patient Assistance Fund, directly benefiting local transplant patients. By participating in the Transplant Trot, you are providing much-needed support to those who are on their transplant journey. Let's come together to make a difference and celebrate the gift of life!

Runners and walkers, of all ages, are welcome to this event. We encourage and support all levels of athletes. The course is designed to be a fast 5K for athletes while providing a safe environment for those walking for fitness and fun.

• Race-day registrations will be accepted the morning of the race from 7:30-8:45 a.m.

• Packet pick-up will be available on Friday May 8th from 4:00-7:00 pm and on race day from 7:30-8:45 am.

Embark on an exhilarating adventure at Conestee Park as you and your furry friend race the trails together at our 9th Annual Tails & Trails 5K Walk/Run. Whether you're sprinting side by side with your canine companion, strolling in support of a noble cause, or participating in the race with family and friends without a pet, this event promises loads of fun for everyone. Tails & Trails isn't just about the thrill of the run; it's an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our community animals. All proceeds play a pivotal role in empowering Animal Care to extend assistance to homeless animals, while also bolstering programs aimed at reducing the number of animals entering the shelter. These initiatives include affordable and targeted spay/neuter programs, as well as a wide range of programs designed to provide resources that enable animals to stay within the loving confines of their homes.

Following the race, indulge in the festivities at our vibrant vendor village, let your pup revel in the puppy pools, and stay for the dog-gone awesome award ceremony.

We can't do it alone! Greenville County Animal Care is the LARGEST open admission animal shelter in South Carolina. We help over 7,000 animals each year in our shelter and assist hundreds of families stay together through our pet support services and low-cost spay/neuter and veterinary clinic. 100% of your fundraising efforts will go directly to support our lifesaving programs.
