Join us for the Columbus Pet Run and Walk, a fun-filled event for you and your furry friends! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just enjoy a leisurely stroll, there's something for everyone. The event features a 1-mile walk and a 5K run, jog or walk and 10k so you can choose the distance that suits you best.

The scenic route takes you through beautiful parks and neighborhoods offering a picturesque backdrop for your run or walk. Participants are encouraged to bring their dogs along, making it a true family-friendly event.

A portion of the proceeds from the event go towards supporting local animal shelters and rescue organizations, so you can feel good knowing you're helping pets in need.

  • All 1mi, 5k and 10k participants will receive a giant size dog tag finisher's medal, a bandana (for either the human or the furry runner), a custom branded race bib, dog and cat treats, a chip timed race, instant results, snacks, refreshments and more!

  • All animal participants will receive a dog tag-sized finisher's medal!

  • The first 200 people to register will also receive a frisbee!

    A foot race held during the epic Tour De Grandview Cycling Classic event on Saturday, June 13th in downtown Grandview!

    • Where: Downtown Grandview

    • Why: To run YOUR fastest mile during the coolest summer event in town. Registration is limited and will sell out early!

    • Note: We have a small but mighty field of Elites who have priority access to the front of the race start. All-comers will line up directly behind the Elites. When the horn blares all runner take off chasing the prize money that goes to the first three women and men to cross the finish line!

    Join Fleet Feet x Hoka test your mettle in a one mile dash during the Tour de Grandview Cycling Classic. The Tour de Grandview Cycling Classic attracts an international field of several hundred professional cyclists to central Ohio each year, as well as cycling enthusiasts and spectators from throughout the Midwest. The Tour de Grandview is organized by the City of Grandview Heights and a host of local volunteers and sponsors.

    The Grandview Street Mile features a revolutionary approach to racing where elite and all-comers share the same roads and sweat it out with Ione common goal: put forth and epic effort to crush your mile PR! The beer at the street party might also play a role, but we're going stick with the glory that comes from a barf inducing mile effort!

    How will it work?

    • 1:00 pm – Junior 9-12 & 13-15 (20 minutes)

    1:30 pm – Men’s Masters 50+ (Scored by 50-59, 60+) (30 minutes)

    2:10 pm – Men’s Masters 40-49 (30 minutes)

    2:50 pm – Women’s Category 3/4/5 (30 minutes)

    3:30 pm – Men’s Category 4/5 (30 minutes)

    4:10 pm – Foot Race- Presented by HOKA and Fleet Feet

    4:45 pm – Kids Sprints (more information here.)

    5:35 pm – Men’s Category 3/4 (40 minutes)

    6:25 pm – Women’s Pro and Category 1/2/3 (50 minutes)

    7:30 pm – Men’s Pro and Category 1/2/3 (60 minutes)

    NOTE: Due to safety concerns on the backside of the course, the races will not be held after sunset.

    How much does it cost?

    • $25 through May 30, or until it sells out. SPOTS ARE LIMITED!

    9:30am-11:30am - RUN JOURNEY. Run to the other theater location - Once you arrive, pick up your tshirt & pint glass and enjoy a free beer before the movie starts back up. Lt. Dan Double runners run from Studio 35 to Grandview and BACK to Studio 35.

    FAQ:

    How do I get back to the theatre location I parked at?

    There will be no shuttles or organized transportation. Think of this like you would a bar crawl where you start at one end of the line, and end on the other. We recommend planning to be picked up by a friend or using Rideshare. Or round up to a half marathon and run home!

    What do we do when we arrive at the first location?

    Head to the registration table to sign in and get your bib and course map. Then head into the theatre for the first screening!

    What do we do when we arrive at the second location after the run?

    Grab your shirt, pint glass, get 1 free beer, and hang out until the second screening begins at 11:30am.

    Will the kitchens be open?

    The kitchens will be open throughout the event! Have yourself some Forrest Brunch.

    What should we wear?

    Plan for the weather (July in Ohio, could be hot or blazing hot, ya know how it goes) but costumes are highly encouraged! You will be sweaty, so either plan a change of clothes at your ending theatre or sweat it up!!

    Is there a gear drop?

    Yes, put your belongings in ONE small bag, label it and give it to our volunteers at registrations. They will transport to your end location.

    What do we get?

    Entry to the event, Forrest Gump Screening, Custom Event Pint Glass, Event t-shirt, 1 Free Beer, and Bragging rights.

    Is this a race?

    NAHHHH. This is not a chipped/timed event, it is a FUN RUN. Hence the costumes and beer. If you'd like to bust ass between theaters, that's on you. All you'll get is braggin' rights.

    Will there be water on the course?

    YES. We will supply water and gatorade at three locations along the 6.5 mile course. We'll have chocolate and shrimp for the true Gump-heads at the midway point. View the course here.

    What is your inclement weather policy?

    We run rain or shine. If there is an imminent threat of lightning, we will communicate delays or cancellations via our official channels.
