Dragon Trails Triathlon (Sprint)

Join us Saturday, April 25, 2026, for the Book It! 5K and Fun Run/Walk in support of the Waterford Township Public Library. This family friendly event welcomes kids and pets. The 5K will feature timing with results posted online at (LINK).

5K Run starts at 10:00 AM

Entry fee includes a commemorative event t-shirt, participant medal, finisher medal for top 3 participants in each age category, a chance to win gifts from our sponsors and complimentary children's book for students. Price discounts available for the following:

• Ages 18 and under - $5.

• Groups of 5 or more: $5 discount for each member of the group.

NOTE: Register by Sunday, April 13, 2026, to guarantee a t-shirt and children's book as noted above.

Onsite registration closes at 9:30 am April 25, 2026.

Packet pick-up will start at 9:00 am on race morning. Check in will be at The Warming House, 5050 Civic Center Drive, Waterford, MI 48329. On the Civic Center Campus by the pond.

Angels’ Place is a non-profit organization that provides people-centered services, including homes and professional support, for adults with developmental disabilities. Twenty residential homes are located in Oakland and Macomb County. The homes offer residents a family environment with an atmosphere of compassion, dignity, well-being and the potential for personal growth and acceptance. Angels’ Place Race was started in 2008 to help support Angels’ Place and contribute to the organization’s ability to maintain its services.

The Upland Hills School Trail Runs will take place on May 16th, 2026 beginning at 9:30AM.

Come join us for our annual 1 Miler, 5K and 10K Trail runs through Upland Hills School Campus. Upland Hills Farm and Bald Mountain State Recreation Area. All ages and fitness levels are welcome!

Eastside Racing Company will be providing Timing Services and live results!

Students at Upland Hills School (K-8) are actively involved in the planning and creation of the Trail Runs and will be participating. This is one of our largest fundraisers each year. Our students are incredibly excited to run, come join our GOATS Upland Hills Cross Country team and students and race the trails.

Many experienced runners have shared that our race is one of the most challenging and beautiful trail runs in the area. We look forward to meeting you at Upland Hills Farm.

Price Increases

On April 5th, 2026 all races registrations will increase in price. T-shirts have limited availability.

New Group Pricing!

Any person who signs up a group of 10 or more runners earns a free entry into any race and discounted pricing for their group! Please contact uhsfunrun@gmail.com for more information.

Awards and Giveaways

Each participant will receive a student-made medal and a commemorative t-shirt. Child Registrations will include two tickets for our End-of-Race Raffle, and each Adult Registration will receive three tickets for our End-of-Race Raffle. Bibs, T-shirts and tickets can be picked up before the start of the races at the Registration Tables on the east side of the Picnic Shelter.

Planning your Run

• The Farm gates will open at 8:30am. Trails Runs start promptly at: 10K - 9:30 AM, 5K - 9:40 AM, 1 Mile- 9:50 AM.

• Free parking, bathrooms, free snacks and water will be available on site.

• Each participant will receive a medal as they cross the finish line. With an opportunity to customize your medal at the end.

• The farm is open for exploring and food when you are not running! (Until noon). The Raffle will be held at the end of the Race.

• Food will be available to purchase from our sponsors. (TBA)

Our community donates creative and fun items for our End-of-Race Raffle for all age groups. Please contact us if you would like to donate a raffle item. Each participant will receive complimentary tickets for the raffle, additional tickets available for $10 each when you register or at the Race Registration Table.
