Dublin Marathon

Founded in Dublin in July 2025, BMO Running Club emerged from a desire to create a running group centered on community rather than competition. Inspired by Copenhagen’s vibrant running culture, BMO quickly grew from a small circle of friends into a 50-strong crew united by shared runs and a beloved post-run ritual of homemade sourdough buns and coffee. The club welcomes runners of all paces, prioritizing inclusivity and mutual encouragement over leaderboards. BMO’s unique events, such as the Bakery Relay and Coast 2 Coast Ultra Relay, reflect its spirit of teamwork and storytelling rooted in Dublin’s urban and natural landscapes. With no membership fees and a focus on social connection, BMO fosters a welcoming atmosphere where running is a cultural experience and friendships are forged one mile at a time. This crew’s heartbeat lies in balancing challenge with camaraderie, making it a distinctive part of Dublin’s evolving running scene.
