6th Annual Homeschool Field Day, with Mountain View Homeschooling

New Location: Hoschton Park 4727 Hwy 53 Braselton, GA 30517

Check In: 9:00-9:30, all present must be registered through RunSignUp.

Parent Participation Required! Each family will work a volunteer shift to help field day run smoothly. Please reserve noted jobs for those with "babies in arms/toddlers in tow."

Cost: $20/child Includes t-shirt (color denotes team), ribbon, sno-cone, and activities. Approved vendors may offer additional services/products for sale, ie: face painting, sand art, etc. Cost increases to $25/participant after May 7th.

Who: Open to ALL homeschoolers! Younger siblings are welcome to hang out, limited additional tickets available day of, cash only for sno-cones, bounce house, etc.

Pack a lunch, bring waterbottles, folding chair, shade tent, etc. whatever you'll need for a fun day outside.

The Night Owl 5K is a run/walk through Panola Mountain State Park, just outside of Atlanta, with all proceeds benefitting AWARE's mission of wildlife rehabilitation and education! We accept injured and orphaned native Georgia wildlife, like an owl hit by a car or a baby opossum that lost its mom. We heal their wounds if they're injured, raise them up if they're orphaned, always with the goal of returning them to the wild. On race day, non-releasable AWARE wildlife will be there to cheer you on from the sidelines and greet you at the start/finish. You'll get pictures with the animals, a t-shirt, a chance to win medals, and more. About half our participants walk, so it's suitable for runners/walkers of all ages and skill levels. The Dad Bod Summer Sweat 5K embraces the heat and highlights the importance of Men’s Mental Health Month. We’re proud to partner with NAMI Gwinnett to champion mental wellness, support community programs, and break the stigma surrounding men seeking help.

This race celebrates dads, father figures, brothers, uncles, mentors — and every runner committed to better physical AND mental health.

⚾ Post-Race Baseball Game Add-On

Keep the celebration going with a June 20 matchup between the Gwinnett Stripers and the Memphis Redbirds at Coolray Field, with first pitch at 6:05 PM! A limited number of baseball game tickets are available for just $12 to the first 100 people who purchase the add-on. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available while supplies last.

Race Experience

Coolray Field provides an exciting and unique starting/finishing area, giving participants the thrill of running near a professional ballpark. Expect summer vibes, upbeat music, and plenty of encouragement along the course.

Join Fleet Feet Athens/ Oconee and the Athens Road Runners to celebrate Global Running Day with THE BIG RUN! We will run from Athentic Brewing on Wednesday, June 3 at 6:30pm, with both 1 mile and 3 mile route options. Bring the whole family to run and celebrate afterwards with food, drinks (both alcoholic and nonalcoholic available!) from Athentic, lots of fun activities for the kids, and raffle prizes! This is a walker friendly event, with strollers and pets welcome, as well!
