The 2026 Thorp Fun Run 5K, 10K, Kids 1/2 Mile and Kids 200 Yard Dash, is held during Thorp Dairy Days. Everyone is encouraged to participate, from first-timers to competitive runners. We are proud to offer a professionally chip timed finish line again this year. All proceeds benefit the Thorp Scholarship Fund which has awarded $7600 in scholarships over the past three years.

Registration and Packet Pick Up: 7:00 - 8:00 AM

8:20am - 200 Yard Kid's Run

8:30am - 1/2 Mile Kid's Fun Run

9:00 am- 5K, 10K Runs

10:30am - Awards Ceremony

Event Fees:

$25 - 5K & 10K (T-shirt included)

$5 - 1/2 mile Kid's Run (Does not include T-shirt, but can be purchased for $10)

$5 - 200 Yard Kid's Run (Does not include T-shirt, but can be purchased for $10)

T-shirts can only be guaranteed for registrations prior to May 20th

Race fee does not include minor processing fees/tax.

Awards

Trophies will be awarded to the top finisher in the men's and women's races for both the 5K and 10K. Medals will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in each age division for both the 5K and 10K.

Age divisions: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & up

Refreshments:

After race refreshments will be provided for Fun Run participants.

Thorp Dairy Days

Concession stands, rides, and carnival games are at the Northside Park. Everyone is encouraged to take part in the Thorp Dairy Days celebration.

    It’s that time of year again! The 11th annual Augusta Elementary Beaver Bolt is coming soon - Saturday, April 18th, 2026. This event brings people from near and far to participate in the 5k fun run/walk and the 400 meter fun run just for kids! Staff and students along with their families and friends come together to join in the fun! Whether you like to walk, run, or just enjoy the camaraderie of others - this event is for you. This year's fundraising event will again highlight our track facility and beautiful stadium! Race participants will get to start and end near the HS track and even get to pass-by our iconic Beaver mascot located at the entrance of our campus.

    What do the funds go towards? Proceeds from this fundraiser go to the Augusta Elementary School. Money raised goes directly to our students for necessary school supplies, field trips, PBIS celebrations, playground equipment, books and so much more! This active feel-good experience is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and warmth in your heart. With your participation we are able to provide a much richer environment for the students of Augusta Elementary School while building a strong community at the same time! It gives you a chance to build memories that will last you a lifetime and also get you a Beaver Bolt t-shirt with registration.     This triathlon is held the 2nd Saturday of each May and includes a 3 mile run, a 10 mile road bike ride, and ends with a 6 mile canoe/kayak trip downriver. Participants can complete the race either solo, as a team (canoe together), or even as a 2 or 3 racer relay (splitting up the race portions).

    The race starts at noon with a 3 mile run, followed by a 10 mile paved bicycle ride, and a 6 mile canoe or kayak trek downriver. It starts and ends at Flater's Resort. The bicycle portion begins at Old Bogie's on Chippewa Avenue, and the canoe/kayak leg begins at River's Edge Resort on County Rd E 6 miles north of Flater's upriver on the Flambeau. Be sure to arrive early to allow time for parking, bib and t-shirt issue, and crowds.

    The race fee is $40 per person. Participants receive t-shirts, food, beverages, and entertainment following the race. The race is also professionally timed. Registration links can also be found on Flater's Resort website.

    Local kayak rental available with Lake Holcombe Sports and Rentals.

    The Hooked on Lake Holcombe 5K Fun Run, organized by Lifebridge Holcombe UMC, takes place in the beautiful Lake Holcombe, Wisconsin resort area. The 5K run/walk route is mostly flat and goes through Holcombe, with road and trail terrain. This is more than just a 5K run/walk! Our event will have a 90 yard dash for the kids. Food and beverages will be available. After the run, you can check out the many other attractions that the Lake Holcombe resort area has to offer, such as camping, restaurants, bars, hiking trails, kayaking, canoeing, boating and fishing!
