The 11th Annual First Day 5K is a 5k and running event held on Thursday, January 1, 2026. It is located at Quaker Meetinghouse Road in Sandwich, Massachusetts.
The Paul White Road Race course is 4.81 miles. The race begins and ends at 6 Chester Street, North Falmouth MA, between North Falmouth Library and Megansett Park on the site of the former Paul White's Market. The course has three moderate hills, the last one being the longest and right before the finish line.
This race was created to commemorate local legend Paul White and to serve as the main fundraiser for the North Falmouth Village Association. The monies raised will be used to fund NFVA operating costs and 4 college scholarships for North Falmouth graduating seniors.
T-shirts will be available for purchase for $20 at all Bib pick-up locations and on Race Day.
Immediately following the race refreshments will be available for participants and awards will be awarded to Top 3 male and female finishers in each age category.

There is limited to no parking available at the Community House. On street parking is not allowed. We recommend that people walk or ride their bikes to the race.
About this event
5th Annual Great Harbors 5kish and 2.5kish fun run. Races/walks are for Great Harbor residents and their guests. Races to take place rain or shine.
Race/walk is $23 for adults and $14 for kids 14 and under. Price increases 7/28 to $30 ($20 for 14 and under). Online registration closes 8/1 at midnight.
5kish Fun run/walk
The course is two full laps around the outside of the neighborhood. Starting and ending at the ball field. Runners and walkers, all ages welcome.
2.5kish Fun run/walk
The course is one full lap around the outside of the neighborhood. Starting and ending at the ball field. Runners and walkers, all ages welcome.

Youth Discount
Ages 14 and under are $14.00 and will receive the discount automatically at checkout.
