    Goal Race: SARR Rocky Horror Trail Run

    Distance Options:

    53K / 27K: For adventurers and experienced trail runners, open to all paces to include walk/run.

    10K / 5K: For runners new to trail running or who prefer a walk/run method.

    Weekly Group Runs: Saturday 7:00am, Tuesday 6:30am, and Wednesday 7pm.

    Flexible training schedule written by SARR RRCA Certified Coaches.

    We train on natural trails at Eisenhower Park, McAllister Park, Government Canyon and other local/state parks and natural areas.

    Free Basebuilder: June 13 - July 10, 2026 geared towards the 53K / 27K participants, but open to all.

    Team Perks: Weekly coaches email, Facebook group, fun socials & special events! Includes SARR Training Team tech shirt.

    Walk2Run 5K: for beginning runners or those wanting to speed up their current pace.

    Take on the 10K: for runners who completed a 5K and are looking to step up to the next level.

    Walk/Run 13.1: looking to run your first Half Marathon? Using walk/run intervals will help you meet your goal.

    Let's Run 13.1: Our Half Marathon training is our most popular program and has helped thousands of runners cross the finish line.

    You Can Do 26.2: Up for a big challenge? Our Full Marathon training has helped runners of all paces tackle this distance.

    Flexible 16-week training schedule written by SARR RRCA Certified Coaches.

    Join us for our most unique race ever! Starting in the Natural Bridge Caverns, which is part of the Comal Caverns network, this race kicks off with breathtaking views of the world below our feet as the start line is in the depths of the Natural Bridge Caverns. Once you emerge to the sunshine of a beautiful day, you’ll wind your way through beautiful trails over flowing hills and through wooded sections. You can choose from 4 to 16 miles distance or go big with the Last Person standing format.

    This race is made possible by the great work of Great Springs Project. Don’t know what that is yet? Check out this link or just come to the race and learn how the Edwards Aquifer under these trails is critical to sustainable clean water for our growing cities. We are incredibly proud to support their grandiose efforts, alongside the city of San Antonio via this trail race!

    While every racer will get some cool swag, September 1 is the deadline to get a shirt.

    The 5K Run/Walk will take place Sunday, October 25, 2026 @ 9:30am. The Location will be at McAllister Park, Pavilion #2, (13298 Buckhorn Rd, San Antonio, TX 78247) Costume contest for the best Dia de los Muertos costume and many more surprises. Bring a friend, dress up for the occasion, run with us and stay for the Fiesta.

    🔔 Jingle Trails Trail Run

    Trail running with a holiday twist

    Step off the pavement and into the holiday spirit! Jingle Trails takes you through the winding dirt trails of McAllister Park in central San Antonio. Expect dirt, roots, rocks, and gravel — this is not a road race. It’s a true trail run, sprinkled with holiday cheer and a cozy finish waiting for you at the end.

    20k - Double up on your trail fun with 2 laps on the Blue Loop! Perfect for those training for a longer winter trail race!

    10K – Blue Loop Challenge

    Test your trail legs on the Blue Loop! Due to current construction, expect a slightly longer course with a short detour.

    5K – Red Trail Dash

    A festive (and rugged) journey through McAllister’s Red Trail.

    ✨ All distances overlap on the way back, making the finish line a high-energy holiday reunion!

    **Please note: distances are estimates and trails courses tend to run long. Think of it as more mileage for your money!
