The Elgin Valley Fox Trot 10 Mile and 5K races will take place in Elgin on May 31, 2026. This will be the 49th consecutive Elgin Valley Fox Trot which makes it one of the longest running and most popular running events in the region. The event will include a 10-Mile and 5K race with both featuring scenic USATF certified courses. New for 2026 will be a 2K Fun Walk.

There will also be a great postrace party which includes the awards presentation, an expo by our sponsors, music, dancing, free beer for all drinking age runners, great treats for the kids, and food trucks for the spectators and runners. Everyone will want to stick around after the race and join in the fun.”

The races will benefit ten area non-profits whose members will be on hand as volunteers providing a fun, safe race for all participants.

The Run for C'Ville is the 12th annual community run hosted by the Rotary Club of Carpentersville, formerly known as the RaceWay Woods 5K. This year's race takes place on August 8, 2026, beginning at 8:00AM at Carpenters Park.

Participants can choose between a 5K Run or a 3K Walk, making this event welcoming for runners, walkers, families, and community members of all ages. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, we will have a staggered start, with runners begging first followed by walkers.

Dogs and strollers are welcome, so bring the whole crew and enjoy a morning of movement and community spirit.

The race is part of Carpentersville's Jamboree Days Weekend, one of the village's most anticipated summer celebrations, filled with music, food, and family activities.

Most importantly, your participation supports a great cause. Proceeds from the event benefit local charities and Rotary community programs, including scholarships for students, winter coats for children, and other initiatives that strengthen our community.

The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen.

TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. Join us for the Headless Horseman Hussle 5K, a fun and energizing community race through the beautiful Village of Sleepy Hollow, Illinois! Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or just want to enjoy a morning walk with friends and family, this event is for everyone.

This race is proudly hosted as a fundraiser for the Sleepy Hollow Elementary PTC, with all proceeds going directly towards supporting students, teachers, and school programs in our community.

The course will take participants through scenic neighborhood streets making it a perfect event to enjoy the outdoors while giving back. Bring your friends, family, and school spirit as we run, walk, and cheer together for a great cause.
