The 9th Annual USAT Sanctioned Fox Lake Sprint Triathlon

Picture yourself coming down the finish line at LakeFront Park after finishing your race. You'll have swum 750 yard triangle course in Nippersink Lake triangle course - 2 inflatable duck turns and a swan finish. Then bike the 12 mile bike route with a few rollers and some straight shots to get up some speed. Then run 3.1 miles on an out and back course with over 2 miles on a paved bike path. Picture perfect!

2026 SWAG - You choose from a Hat or Visor!

Parking within 2 blocks of transition. Finish line within steps of transition. Great spectator event in and around the course.

Typically wetsuit legal, always no draft bike, and flat and fast run. USAT official will be on the bike course.

Registration will close on Friday, June 5, 2026 - 7:00 p.m.

Time trial starts every 5 seconds

FINISH LINE food, festivities, and awards will be done near when the last person has finished.

Three Sprint Triathlons - One Rate - All the swag - Cool Medal - Overall Winner Awards!! Fox Lake - June 7, Lake Zurich - July 12, and Wauconda Triathlon - July 26. Check out the link to get registered - LImited to 50 racers.

Walk or run the annual McHenry Lakefront 5K! The Kids Fun Run includes a 50m (ages 3-5) & 100m (ages 6-8) race, so bring out the kids!

Course is chip-timed and USATF certified course. Fee includes t-shirt (while supplies last).

Awards for top overall male & female finisher, along with 1st-3rd place age group male & female finishers. Check-in from 7:00 am - 7:45 am.

Bib/Shirt Pickup - Available Friday from 12 pm - 6 pm at the McHenry Recreation Center, 3636 Municipal Drive, McHenry, or day of the race.

5K Course (all ages) - The course leaves Petersen Park Beach and weaves along the Prairie Trail and through the Lakeland Park neighborhood. Nice, shaded, flat race course!

5K Awards: Award for top overall Male and Female and Medals for Top 3 Male/Female in each category: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, etc to 70 & over

Kids Fun Run Awards: Medals for Top 3 for 50m and 100m. All participants receive a runner medal.

Richardson Farm Fall 5K & 10K with Family 1 Mile Adventure Run - 10/18/2026

Run or walk a 5K entirely through the World's Largest Corn Maze or families can run the 1 Mile Adventure Run. Definitely an a-maze-ing experience that is so corny it's crazy. Weave through hundreds of turns on the clearly marked course as fast as you can.
