A fun 5K and 1K for the kids around the Citrus College campus during the "Big Game" weekend. Come out and experience the Citrus College campus, with music, games, and more ... all for a great cause, the Citrus College Athletics Department!

Parking and entrance will be in the Citrus College Stadium parking lot (S6) off Barranca Ave. Click below for a map of the college's campus.

6:30AM: Check In/Day of Registration Opens

8:00AM: 1K Begins

8:30AM: 5K Begins

9:30AM: 5K Awards - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in men's and women's categories.

10:30AM: Event Concludes

We invite everyone to participate, from seasoned runners to families and friends supporting the music at the College. The event promises a scenic route through campus, promoting unity, wellness and music!

All runners will get an event t-shirt, runners bib and access to the Vendor Area at the 5K. THIS IS A CHIP TIMED EVENT, with chip timing provided by Finished Results.

PARKING INFO

Race day parking will be FREE and available on-site at Citrus College Stadium.

AWARDS

Everyone that crosses the 1K finish line gets a medal. We will be recognizing our runners that come in first, second and third in a certain categories with a separate award. Additionally, there will prizes for best dancing and some Chick-Fil-A giveaways.

EARLY PACKET PICK UP

Registrants are able to pick up their shirts, runners bibs and more early so you can show up to the race ready to go. Packet Pick Up will be on Friday February 6th from 3-6 at Citrus Stadium.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What if it rains?

The event will take place rain or shine! We do not offer refunds or deferrals due to weather.

Can I pick up my packet on race day?

Yes! To avoid lines, we recommend picking up at Early Packet Pick Up. But, race day pick up is available, please arrive at least 30 minutes before your race start time.

Is the event timed?

Yes! Each event in the series is professionally chip timed

Will there by race photos?

Professional photos will be made available to all participants after the event.

Will there be food?

For runners there will be water, fruit and Chick-Fil-A at the finish line.

How will the course be marked?

Signage will be made available throughout the course to direct runners, in addition musicians and athletes will be on the course directing runners.

Are there aid stations on course?

Yes! There will be an Certified Athletic Trainers on site at the start/finish area. There will also be a hydration stations at the halfway of the 5K.

What if my results are missing or inaccurate?

If you find an error in your time, please send us an email and we can resolve.

Is this a fundraiser?

Yes, the event is a fundraiser for Citrus College Athletics and Music Department.

    Run for mental health. Walk for community. Every step helps expand access to healing-centered programs.

    Join us for the Self Care Lab’s 4th Annual 5K Run & Walk, a community event raising awareness for mental health while supporting programs that promote healing, movement, and wellbeing for both youth and adults.

    The Self Care Lab is a clinical boxing gym and wellness space focused on the connection between mental health and physical movement. Through boxing, fitness, and supportive programming, we provide tools that help people regulate stress, build resilience, and strengthen their overall wellbeing.

    This year’s 5K also serves as a fundraiser to expand our programs and secure a larger facility, allowing us to serve more members of our community and provide scholarships for underserved youth.

    Whether you’re a seasoned runner, casual walker, or simply looking to support a meaningful cause, we welcome participants of all ages and fitness levels.

    Prizes will be distributed at the end of each race and for the overall series winners. There are three categories in which the prizes will be given out: Sport, Expert and Pro. Prizes for each race are as follows:

    Pro

    1st place - $2000 cash

    2nd place - $250 cash

    3rd place - $150 cash

    Expert

    1st - $400 in Gear

    2nd - $250 in Gear

    3rd - $150 in Gear

    Sport

    1st - $300 in Gear

    We are capping the race at 700 entries, we encourage to sign up right away.

    Bibs / Timing Chips

    Cirque Series will utilize Competitive timing to time the event with a disposable chip placed on the back of your bib. Please do not fold, crush or remove the chip from the bib. You may dispose of the chip/bib after the race is over.

    Please help us preserve the beauty of our mountains and assist in maintaining an enjoyable, safe event for everyone involved.

    Please respect private property near the trails. Do not trespass.

    No littering: Participants are encouraged to carry water and food during the event.

    Please dispose of all waste and recyclables in the proper containers.

    Please be respectful of all Forest Service officials.

    Do not impede another runner.

    Leave no trace: Pack-in pack-out.

    We will provide hydration at two aid stations on course, summit water station & finish line hydration.

    Scenic Lakeside 5k Course

    Our 5K course takes you along a beautiful lakeside road at Bonelli Regional Park, with views of sparkling Puddingstone Lake and rolling hills all around. The route features a mix of flat stretches and a few gentle inclines to keep things fun and challenging.

    As you run, you’ll be surrounded by mountain backdrops, lush greenery, and open skies—perfect for an energizing morning on the move. Bonelli Park is a favorite spot for local runners, cyclists, and nature lovers, and you’ll see why: the course combines scenic beauty with a welcoming, race-day atmosphere.

    Whether you’re walking, jogging, or aiming for a personal record, this course offers a little bit of everything—lake views, shady sections, rolling terrain, and plenty of inspiration.

    Scenic Lakeside 10k Course

    Our 10K course begins on the same scenic lakeside road as the 5K, letting you take in the sparkling waters of Puddingstone Lake and the mountain views that make Bonelli Park so special.

    At the halfway point, the course branches off to bring you onto park trails and rolling hills, adding a little more adventure and challenge. You’ll experience a blend of paved paths, natural terrain, and inclines that keep things exciting while still being very runnable.

    With the combination of lake views, shaded sections, open trails, and mountain backdrops, the 10K is a rewarding course for both seasoned runners and those looking to push themselves a bit further.
