WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE REGISTRATION? A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Run on your own, or with friends! Your race bib, shirt and medal will be shipped directly to you. And your registration fee and fundraising efforts will go directly to help support victims of crime through our survivors hope fund. Register Today!

Why race for Fragile X syndrome?

Fragile X syndrome (FXS) is the leading known cause of inherited intellectual disability and the leading single gene cause of Autism. Fraxsocal’s mission is to promote public awareness and with your help we can accomplish this goal! Also, to provide a forum for families and children with FXS to meet & greet and create a stronger FXS community! We also support research for effective treatments and ultimately a cure for FXS. Treatments for Fragile X are likely to help people affected by autism, Alzheimer’s, and other brain disorders.

Fragile X Community

A Family Fun Day will proceed after the walk with Family, Friends, Food and Fun!! It's a great time to chat with other families affected by fragile X syndrome (FXS) and it's also a nice opportunity for you to take your kid(s) or adult(s) with FXS or any disability for that matter, judgement free!

How to participate:

• Participate in person: Sign up to walk, run, bike, scoot or stroll (it's a very family friendly walk/run) All you do is click the "Sign up" button above and register yourself and the whole family! Mark your calendar and be sure to arrive early so you can get your FREE t-shirt and goodies before we begin.

• Participate virtually: Sign up by clicking the "Sign up" button above and register yourself and the whole family! (Make sure you have someone there in person to pick up your t-shirts otherwise you will be donating them to our organization in which we say, "thank you"! )

• Start a Fundraiser: Whether you are participating in person or virtually you can start an individual fundraiser (starting goal is $250) and attach it to a TEAM (Starting goal of $2,500) in the honor of your Fragile X Super Hero.

• Become a Sponsor: Whether you personally, your company or a company you know are interested we have multiple packages to choose from!

• Recognize a participant with a fun, inspirational sign to be placed along the 5K course!

Race Fundraising Goal: $75,000 Last year we raised over $55,000!!! Let's see if we can top that!! Donations can be made by clicking the Donate Tab.

FRAGILE X ASSOCIATION of SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (FRAXSOCAL)

Our non-profit organization was formed to promote public awareness of Fragile X Syndrome with special emphasis on educators and health professionals; provide a forum for families and children with Fragile X to meet and share their ideas, concerns and problems; and support scientific research on Fragile X Syndrome.

No clocks. No mile markers. Just speed.

This is a 4+ mile race through Chino Hills and the surrounding area.

Check-in time 6:00 p.m. Runners will be given race instructions 15 minutes before the start. From there, you must navigate your way to four checkpoints before racing to the finish location. It's a race fueled by strategy and speed.

The top male and female runners will each receive $100 in cash; 2 random winners drawn by your bib number will also receive $50 in cash for participating.

This Shadow Strike tests your speed on both gravel + trail, with our friends Altra and their array of shoes.

Please note that this race will be an open course through streets, footpaths, and intersections.*

Help us give back to those aspiring nurses through supporting the Bonnie Fang Foundation in our search to support those to keep us alive. In 2026 we will be offering the live experience and a virtual run to provide the perfect opportunity and flexibility to participate safely while interacting with our nursing and running community live & online to support a great cause.

Bonelli Park is located on the Northeast corner of the 10 and 57 Freeways in San Dimas, CA.

From San Diego, 5 north to 57 north, cross over the 10 freeway and exit Via Verde Dr.

From Redondo Beach, etc. 10 East to 57 North and Exit Via Verde

From Pasadena-210 to 57 and exit Via Verde

From the East-10 to 57 North and exit Via Verde

Take the Via Verde Dr. Exit off of the 57 Freeway. Head East, down into the park. After entering through the gate, take the second left into the parking lot, additional parking is further east on Via Verde.

*Please note that there is a separate parking fee of $15 for Bonelli Regional Park
