The Irvington Community Council brings back the Pleasant Run Run to the streets of Historic Irvington. Join us for the return of this east side tradition of over 40 years!

5-mile Run - Follow along the Pleasant Run Creek around north Irvington, Ellenberger Park, and Pleasant Run Golf Course on this historic and scenic 5-mile course. Entry includes a timing bib, race t-shirt, and finisher's medal. This event is limited to a 17 minute per mile minimum pace.

5K Run/walk - A 3.1 mile course through the streets and sights of north Irvington. Entry includes a timing bib, race t-shirt, and finisher's medal. Can't be there on race day? Sign up for your Virtual option.

Kids' Dash - Free for kids 12 and under! Adults do not need to register to participate alongside their child, but may register for $5 to donate to the event.

    The RUN(317) Series celebrates the unique people, neighborhoods, businesses and charities of the (317)! RUN(317) Fountain Square is the first race in the 5 race Series. Participants can register for as many races in the series as their schedules allow them. Each Thursday Night run is followed by a high energy post-race party sponsors by Arthur Murray Dance Center featuring DJ Iman, local craft beer, food, games and community partners.

    On Thursday, June 11th, we are excited to have runners/walkers from all over the Indianapolis area spend their evening in Fountain Square. The race starts at 7 p.m.

    Participants can choose to run/walk or virtually do a 3.17 mile course through the streets of the Fountain Square. Starting and ending Keep Indianapolis Beautiful this flat, fast courses feature views of this unique historic neighborhood and energy of Fountain Square.

Event proceeds help families with children in area hospitals stay at the nearby Ronald McDonald House at little or no cost. That way, parents can be with their children throughout treatment without worrying about a large hotel bill. So far, IREM Indy, with the help of our sponsors and participants, has donated over $335,000! All of our great efforts go a long way, earning IREM Indy the prestigious Helping Hand Award and having a room named after us at the Ronald McDonald House! . There are cash prizes for top three male and top three female finishers plus age group awards. There will be games and activities for kids, plus a Rookie Run after the main 5K event!! The course is back on the popular Indianapolis Downtown Canal.
