This is the 15th Isaiah 40:31 Run hosted by the Upper School Student Council to raise funds for our gift to the school. In past years, we have been able to purchase a permanently mounted sound system for our gym, over 300 chairs and the racks for storing them, a portable stage, and a portable sound system for our Praise and Worship Team. This year, we would like to put our profits towards the purchase of a digital sign that would be located on our property next to Highway 421.

All runners who enter either the certified 5K race or the 1-Mile Color Run will receive a t-shirt. Participants must register by April 1 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. After April 1, any additional t-shirts will only be available on race day on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Be The One race is a family - friendly event created to bring the community together in support of our veterans and those struggling around us. What began as a passion to serve our nation has grown into a space where neighbors, friends, and families can unite to honor the lives of veterans, share their stories, and remember those who lost their battle to suicide.

Suicide is a major - yet preventable - crisis in the United States, with a devastating impact on the veteran community. Veterans comprise nearly a quarter of suicide deaths nationwide. It is estimated that between 17 and 22 veterans or service members take their lives each day. These are not just statistics - they represent fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, and friends.

This event is more than a race - it's a community experience. Participants are encouraged to check in on one another, strengthen bonds, and build new friendships while celebrating the courage and sacrifice of U.S. service members and veterans. By coming together annually, we continue to fight to save lives, support those in need, and ensure that no veteran or community member feels alone in their struggles.

Join us for a day of connection, remembrance, and fun - a day to honor, encourage, and make a difference, one step at a time.
