    This will be the fifth running of the "Spin & Dye" 8k race in Erwin, NC. The proceeds this year will benefit Rockism for Autism. This will be challenging 8k that will start and finish at Al Woodall Municipal Park. The race will start at 7:00 am and will be chip timed. Medals will be presented to the top 3 overall female and male. Age group medals will be given to females and males based on USAT&F 10 year groupings: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.

    This race will be the second of a Harnett County series, partnered with races in Dunn and Coats. Sign up for all three using the "Bundle" option and save some money! Bundle registration will only be offered until 4/30/25 when the registration for the first race closes.

    This will be the sixth running of the “I Thought Turkeys Could Fly” 5k. The proceeds this year will benefit the DUMA Food Bank. The USATF certified course will begin and end on North General Lee Ave by Tyler Park in Dunn, NC. The course is flat and fast with only 56 ft of elevation change and a downhill finish. The race is scheduled for Saturday November 8, 2025. The race will start at 8:00 a.m. and will be chip timed. Medals will be presented to the top 3 overall female and male. Age group medals will be given to females and males based on USAT&F 10 year groupings: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.

    This is a race put on by the Hiester Cares Foundation. Proceeds from the race will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. In the past 4 years we have had over 700 runners and raised over $350,000!

    The 5K course is entirely on the campus of Fuquay Varina High School, mostly on broad sidewalks. It is USATF certified.

    Participants will receive a race t-shirt and swag bag.

    Carolina Lakes Residence and their guests are invited to run or walk this 5k. Race starts at 9 AM at the CL Clubhouse. The course is an out and back, beginning at the clubhouse parking lot and turning right onto Carolina Way. The course has a halfway turn around just past the intersection of Cedar & Canterbury with a return to the clubhouse for the finish.

    Bring your friends and family out to walk, run, or cheer on racers and enjoy a community fall festival after! Runners and walkers can enjoy a post race stretch with our CL Yoga instructor, get a hot beverage and snacks from food trucks. Kids and families can enjoy community vendors and fall activities!

    FEES

    Early Bird Registration- $30.00 plus processing fees Until October 31:

    Individual Registration: $30 for Individual Racers

    Family Race Package: Pay for two individual racers at $30 each, and additional family members get 50% off (Great option for families of 3-8).

    Student/School Team Race Package: $15 for each team member that registers together. (minimum of 10 total racers).

    Late Registration- $40.00 plus processing fees from November 1- 21.

    Individual Registration: $40 for Individual Racers

    Family Race Package: Pay for two individual racers at $40 each, and additional family members get 50% off (Great option for families of 3-8).

    Student/School Team Race Package: $20 for each team member that registers together. (minimum of 10 total racers).

    RACE SHIRTS

    There is a limited number of race shirts for this event. The first 175 racers that register before October 31 will receive a race t-shirt. Anyone that registers after November 1 will forfeit a t-shirt if all shirts have been issued. Options for purchase may be available on site.
