This year the Arutisuse Run will focus on diabetes education and awareness months prior to the race and culminate with the 5K walk/run celebration. Arrive by 7:30am to get your groove on and participate in our line dance warm up. All registered participants will receive a t-shirt, bib, finisher medal and photo.

Arutisuse Run is an event for EVERYONE to enjoy! Families, businesses, strollers and wheelchairs are welcome! Virtual and in-person registration options are available. Find us on social media using the hashtag #ArutisuseRun.

All proceeds from the event will support Nyan Cares Corp's community service efforts.

The Lutz Independence Day 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run is a family event celebrating Independence Day in Lutz, FL. The race is held annually on July 4th preceding the Lutz Independence Day Parade. The 5K sells out every year, don't wait to register!

Schedule of Events:

Race Day - July 4th

• 6:30-7:00am bib pickup

• 7:30am 5K race start (chip timed)

• 8:15am 1 Mile Fun Run start

• 8:30am Begin Awards

• NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION

Packet Pickup: Friday 7/3 1-6pm

• Pickup location: Lutz Train Depot

• Any packets not picked up prior to race day, will be available on race morning from 6:30-7:00am

Event Details:

• Parking: All runners should park South of Lutz Lake Fern Road or East of US 41

• This event will have online registration only. No cash or day of registration accepted.

• Awards: Medals to all finishers of either distance

• Only register for both events if you plan to complete the 5k in under 45 minutes as the 1-mile starts at 8:15am

• Trophies: 5K- First overall male/female; First masters male/female; top 3 in 5-year age groups 0-9 thru 70+

• Shirt sizes guaranteed if registered by 6/15/26. Any late registrations we will do our best to accommodate sizing.

• A portion of the proceeds will be distributed to the Lutz Community. 2025 recipients include: Lutz School House, Lutz Nature Park, Sunlake High School Cross Country, Hillsborough Harriers
