2026 marks our 5th year of hosting races, and it's time to celebrate with you, our amazing running community!

Join us at BackRoads Brews + Shoes on March 15th for our 5th Anniversary Run/Party.

Join us for a run, and spend some time together after in the BackRoads' taproom.

This is not a race, but rather, a chance for us to come together as a running community to celebrate 5 years of running. We're going to have road (approx. 5k) and trail options (approx. 8k.), and you'll receive some Persistence Racing swag, a bib, and medal. In keeping with what we do for all of our events, we'll donate a portion of the proceeds to the Children's Health Foundation in support of children and their families in our community.

Here's how it works:

  1. Register here on Race Roster.

  2. Choose to run road or trail. We'll have run leaders for both options. You'll be prompted to select road or trail when you register to give us a rough idea of numbers, but you can switch on the day of if you'd like.

  3. Pick up your bib at BackRoads on the morning of March 15th beginning at 8:40 a.m. The bib will be a leftover bib from one of our previous races.

  4. The runs will start at 9:30 a.m.

  5. At the conclusion of your run, you've get a leftover medal from one of our races.

  6. After you collect your medal, visit us in the taproom to get a piece of Persistence Racing swag. You'll tell us your size, and we'll blindly choose something out of a bin which fits, or you can take your chances on the miscellaneous bin of one size fits most. These are all leftover items from our races, e.g. shirts, hats, hoodies, jackets, gloves, glasses etc.

We'll mark your bib to indicate you've received your swag item.

  1. Relax, hang out, enjoy your favourite beverage, and spend some time together.

Simple!

Your registration guarantees you a spot, and entitles you to a leftover bib, medal, and swag item. There will be no timing for the runs.

Due to capacity limits in store, we've got 50 spots.

See you on March 15th!

Join us on Friday, June 19th, for the 2nd event of our HOKA Hat Trick Series!

With 4 different race sections to participate in, including the championship section, this is an event for everyone and one you won’t want to miss it! Arrive early to BackRoads to demo the latest offerings from HOKA and get the perfect pair for your race.

Like last year, we'll gather in Legacy Park across from BackRoads for a full-blown outdoor festival, including a beer garden, food trucks & DJ Kevin Turcot - celebrating an amazing night at the track with hundreds of fellow runners!

The 800m Night (2 laps of the track), is a staple event we’ve held since opening our doors in 2017.
