  • Please Note our 2026 All You Can east Bluffet is still in the planning phase, but for now we know it will be taking place August 1st, 2026. Keep an eye out on our website and socials for updates throughout the winter as we pin down the exact details. Take a look at what we cooked up last year and see if you want to step into the kitchen in 2026!-

-Registration for this event will open May 14, 2026-

The All You Can East Bluffet, presented by Cross Country Sports, is a healthy sampling of the tastiest trails that East Bluff has to offer. With 6 and 12-hour options, this endurance enduro is meant to be a fun way to push your limits on the epic trails at East Bluff. You start by pedaling to the top, where you spin a wheel that will tell you what trail you

need to take down! We will have the expert class, which includes all the downhill trails, and the intermediate category, which includes only blue trails.

How it works:

● Start at the bottom of East Bluff (bottom of Flo-Rion, Dueling Banjos)

● Pedal to the top of East Bluff via the driveway

● Once at the top, play “spin the mountain bike wheel” for the random trail you (and maybe a few friends) have to take down!

● Punch a hole in your race plate to record this lap

● Have an absolute blast shredding down East Bluff!

● Check in with the race trackers at the bottom

● Repeat as many times as you can!

Trails

To climb up, you will take the East Bluff Driveway (for the brave-hearted, Magic Carpet is an option, too). But the important part is, of course, the downhill part! See the trail options below, and remember that the wheel determines which trail you ride down each lap.

Expert Class

The expert class has mandatory features, including rough roots and steep rock rolls.

● Thunderbolt to Citrus Tech

● Citrus Tech (full pull)

● Bermasaurus to Flo’Rion

● Loam Rider to Eh Horizon to Flo’Rion

● Flo’Rion (full pull)

● Whipsaw to Summer School

Intermediate Class

● Flo’Rion (full pull)

● Whipsaw to Summer School

● Bermasaurus to Flo’Rion

Teams

Cooperative Teams

In the Cooperative Teams category, it’s all about working together! Ride alongside your friends and push each other to crank out as many laps as possible. Your team’s score is based on the average number of laps per rider, so every lap counts, and so does helping your teammates succeed.

There’s no cap on team size (just a 2-person minimum), so rally your crew and get ready to ride. For this event, you register as an individual (do not select that you would "like to join or create a team" when registering); you will tell us your team on race day. Ensure your entire cooperative team is in the same event (6-hr or 12-hr, intermediate or expert).

Relay Teams

You can also sign up as a relay team (go to the Teams tab at the top of this page), with a team size of between 2 and 4 participants. The team with the greatest number of laps wins! Team members will swap race plates with one another. It does not have to be an even distribution between teammates, and one teammate can do multiple laps at a time. Remember, you’re not riding alongside your teammates—you’re taking turns swapping laps. For this event, you do select that you would "like to join or create a team" when registering.

Food!

Yeah, I know the event name has you thinking about food. We’ve got you (partially) covered, with scrumptious offerings courtesy of Fletchy’s Otter Belly Lodge, ready to go and warmed up right at the trailhead!

No bonking!! We’ll also have your favorite endurance snacks, consisting mainly of the food your mom didn’t let you have when you were a kid. Do not rely on our food to get you through the entire race, but we’ll have snacks to help stave off the bonk.

No E-Bikes!

This is an endurance event anyway, right? If there is a high demand for an e-bike category, let the organizers know, and we'll consider it next year.

Race Website

Additional race information can be found at www.copperharbortrails.org/bluffet

Safety

This is a challenging endurance event. If you are too tired to safely complete another lap, please consider stopping. We will have an ambulance there as well as multiple bike patrollers, but we hope to not need those services. If you start in the expert class and feel as if it is unsafe for you to keep going, you can drop down to the intermediate event. Make sure you tell the volunteers at the bottom that you have changed to the intermediate event.

Volunteering

Our event wouldn't be possible without amazing volunteers like you! Whether you're helping with check-in or tracking racers, every role makes a difference.

    • Registration for Copper Harbor Trails Fest 2026 will open April 30th, 2026. -

Hosted by the Copper Harbor Trails Club, the 33rd Annual Copper Harbor Trails Fest takes place September 4th - September 6th, 2026, in Copper Harbor, MI. The annual Labor Day Weekend event features races, music, beer, and good times over three days of action! This all-ages event has something for everyone, whether you're a cross-country lover, blazing-fast downhiller, enduro expert, sure-footed trail runner, or aspiring young ripper. Let the good times roll over the best dang weekend of the summer!

Saturday brings our classic XC mountain bike race in the morning, split into long and short depending on your appetite for pedaling. Later in the afternoon we kick off our Downhill race on Overflow, the biggest baddest trail you ever did see. Shortly after that our young riders show us what they've got in their quest for pint-sized glory. We wrap it up in the park downtown with music, tasty food, and beverages from local and regional brewers.

Sunday picks up where we left off with a rugged 10k Trail Run that will have you wondering if you should have worn hiking boots instead of running shoes. Later in the morning we send it with our Enduro race, split between Beginner, Sport, and Expert classes. Stick around for the music and food scene into the evening. It all culminates with the drawing of winners for our summer raffle and crowning of the King & Queen of the Mountain and Beast Mode Champions. Think you'll win big this year?

The Expert and Sport-class Enduro and Downhill race are part of the Lake Superior Gravity Series.

Do you have what it takes to be the King or Queen of the Mountain? The top male and female competitors who compete in all three of the main events (Long XC, Expert Enduro, and Downhill) will take home the top prize for the weekend. Even if you're not planning on aiming for the podium, each event added gets you a $20 discount. The more you race the more you save! And for the crazies who want to do the three biking events AND the 10k Trail Run... you'll also become eligible for the BEAST MODE award! Test your mettle and make a run for the top!

Race times are approximate and may change as the event draws nearer. Check the Trails Fest event page on our website for the most up-to-date participant schedule and info packet.
