Dream Big 5k

The Apple Valley Reverse Triathlon will be held at the beautiful Civic Center Park, and Aquatic Center! The Reverse Triathlon will start with a 5k run, transition into a 12 mile road course on a bicycle, and finish with a 150 yd pool swim. (E Bikes are not allowed)

The Apple Valley kids triathlon will consist of a 1k run, 1 mile bike ride, and a 50 yard swim. Last but not least the event will also include a stand-alone 5K for those runners at heart.

All events are chip timed, and Triathletes will receive a T- Shirt and Finisher Medal. Awards start time 9:30am. Medals for top 3 overall male/female, and top 3 in each division for Triathlon event, and top 3 male/female in 5K event. Participation awards for kids triathlon, this event is purely for the enjoyment of the kids and is geared for those 5- 12 years old. Each kid's triathlete will receive a medal and T-shirt.

Helmets are required for the Bike Portion of the race.

Proper swim attire is required for the Swim Portion of the race.

Athletes can park in the Town Hall Parking Lot off Dale Evans Parkway/Westlund Way or in the Super Target shopping center.

This 20 acre course is more than just getting dirty!!! Our obstacles range from mud and water to thinking and strategy to test your bond with your pup!! Half Marathon

Get ready to join the Apple Valley community for an exciting day of fitness and fun on February 27, 2027, as we host the 3rd Annual Apple Valley Desert Rock and Road Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K Run/Walk, beginning promptly at 8:00 AM. The race begins at Civic Center Park and takes participants along scenic routes that showcase the stunning landscapes of Apple Valley. With well-marked courses, multiple aid stations, and enthusiastic volunteers, we are committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all participants.

Choose from three race distances: the 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon. Each course offers its own unique challenge, whether you're a beginner taking on the 5K, looking to push yourself with the 10K, or ready to conquer the Half Marathon. Every participant will receive a commemorative finisher medal to celebrate their accomplishment.

We recommend that anyone under the age of 16, on race day, should be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian that is also registered for the race.
