The Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) Foundation is offering this 5K Walk/Run event FREE of charge! Come out and enjoy a healthy day with the community. The ARMC 5K Walk/Run aims to encourage exercise while also promoting the services that San Bernardino County and Arrowhead Regional Medical Center offer to the community.

Packet Pickup

Join us the day before the race on Friday, May 1st and beat the crowds and show up to pick up your bib from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Frank A. Gonzales Center at 670 Colton Avenue in Colton, CA 92324. Packets can also be picked up the day of the race while supplies last.

Subject to change.

The first 800 people to pick up their bib will have their choice of an event shirt. This is first come, first served with no guarantee that we will have your size if you show up late or on race day.

Finisher medals will be provided.

Registration

Opens at 7 a.m. on race day. The ARMC 5K Starts at 8:30 a.m. The bib pickup will close at 8:15, and you will not be able to start the Walk/Run if you arrive on site later than 8:10 a.m.

Event Features

There will be many event booths and light refreshments at the event. This is a rain or shine event.

Course Aid

There will be a water station along the course.

Parking

There is free parking available on the grounds of ARMC and 5K participants may park in any designated slot which is not already clearly marked and reserved for disabled parking or on-duty hospital staff. Most parking lots are unfenced (please note, employee parking lots are fenced with badge in/out access gates). If the entrance gate to a fenced lot is locked in the open position, it is available for general parking that day. If the entrance gate is closed, it is reserved for on-duty hospital staff – please do not attempt to park in such lots.

Pets

Although walking with your dog elsewhere is a terrific idea, the ARMC 5K is definitely NOT a sensible place to bring your pet. Please do not bring your dogs and do not attempt to negotiate the 5K with your pet. We appreciate your consideration in this regard.

5K de Mayo

Hosted by the High Desert Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

Join us for the inaugural 5K de Mayo, an exciting community run and walk taking place May 16 at Victor Valley College, with the course running around the lake on campus.

This event is designed for all ages and fitness levels. Whether you are a competitive runner, a casual jogger, or prefer to walk with friends and family, the 5K de Mayo is a fun and inclusive way to get involved.

Proceeds from the event will benefit scholarship programs, helping support local students in pursuing their educational goals.

Registration is $35 per participant and includes a finisher medal and official race T-shirt.

Come celebrate community, culture, and wellness while supporting a meaningful cause. We look forward to seeing you at the starting line.

The Fontana Days Run Half Marathon began back in 1955 with a reported 200 participants. Race founders were unaware that the annual Half Marathon would grow to include over 2,000 participants. The Fontana Days Run provides participants with a safe, festive, and well organized event. The Annual Fontana Days Run features a Half Marathon, 5K Run, 5K Family Fitness Walk, and a Children's Half Mile Dash. Finish Line festivities include local vendors, exhibitors, entertainment, and food.

Why We Run: The Parkker Hope Program

On May 30th, 2023, 11-year-old Parkker McClain was diagnosed with stage 4B Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She began a very intense chemo protocol that would have a massive impact on her little body. The McClain's began to use hyperbaric, red light, and molecular hydrogen treatment to give her body a significantly higher chance to win the war in her body. On August 9th, Parkker's PET Scan came back clear!

The war was won, and we are standing in faith that your child will win the war.

The Parkker Hope Program allows any child under the age of 18 diagnosed with cancer to receive the following services for FREE:

Use of the Leveled Up Health Center (Body)

Daily Disciplines Parkker completed (Mind)

Scriptures and Songs (Spirit)
