Ward, will rock your world as we raise the roof on women's spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial wellness. Whether you're sprinting, jogging, or simply cheering from the sidelines, this adrenaline-charged extravaganza is your golden ticket to a celebration of women's empowerment!

Mark your calendars because the action-packed Journey 5K is blasting off on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at the epic Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC. The starting gun fires at 10 am sharp, unleashing a tidal wave of passion and purpose! By strutting your stuff in The Journey 5K, you're not just conquering personal fitness goals; you're unleashing a whirlwind of resources that will revolutionize women's spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial well-being nationwide!

A portion of the proceeds raised will be donated to Levine Cancer Institute and Sisters in Partnership (a 501c3 that supports Breast cancer survivors and thrivers). All other funds will go toward women's wellness programming in The Journey Collective Inc.

We believe that empowered women who pursue their wellness dreams become unstoppable forces of change, transforming homes and communities in their wake!     Like, totally awesome news—last year marked the radical debut of the Silo Sprint 5K, a gnarly way to celebrate the epic resurrection of the Frank Liske Park Barn! Back in 2020, a devastating fire wiped out not just the barn but also a ton of unforgettable memories. This place was the spot, a true staple of the park. But through some major dedication and hard work, the barn made its totally tubular comeback in August 2023!

    Now, we’re cranking up the tunes and inviting you all to lace up those kicks for another boss-level race! Get ready to tackle a fun and challenging course as we step into a new era—without forgetting the awesome times of the past. All participants will score a custom race shirt, bib, and a rad goodie bag to commemorate the event. And the fun doesn’t stop at the finish line—runners also get free mini golf, paddleboat access, and some chill 80s-style vibes after the race!

    After you crush the course, cool down with sno cones, playground fun, trails to explore, fishing spots, and plenty of space to just hang and enjoy the day. So grab your best neon gear, tease up that hair, and join us for an unforgettable throwback celebration! 🎉🎶🏃‍♂️💥

    PACKET PICKUP will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 (Frank Liske Park office) 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and Saturday, June 6th (Barn) from 8:00 am - 9:00 am.

    RACE DAY REGISTRATION will be held on Saturday June 6th at the Barn.

    Overall Awards: Top Overall Male, Overall Female, Masters Male, Masters Female, Grand Masters Male, and Grand Masters Female.

    Individual Awards to the top 3 finishes in the following age groups for male & female: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,40-44,45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over

    SPEED FOR NEED - Riders with a special need in a customized racing wheelchairs to help them complete the Streetlight 5k. The mission is to raise awareness and foster inclusion. Speed for Need provides the wheelchair and the runner. If you would like to reserve a racing wheelchair, please contact Zack Roehrs at [email protected].
