Twilight Mile Mania at Waverly High School

Join us for a fun filled evening for 1 mile races at the Waverly High School Track. Register for your pace group. This race is designed for all ages and abilities. We'll have a DJ, refreshments, photographer and much more!

Race Entry Fee: $20 for Adult. $10 for youth ages under age 14. Kids 200M and 400M for ages 10 and under FREE event.

Awards:

Playmakers gift cards for overall top 3 for male and female and top 3 male and female masters.

Awards will be given out on a rolling basis after each event.

Small giveaways for all children’s race participants (ribbons and temporary tattoos).

Race Schedule - Track opens at 5 pm - All races are 1 mile except where noted for the kids races. Same Day registration from 5-6 pm.

Packet pick up from 5-7:30 pm.

Kids Races:

Kids 200 M fun run: 6:00 pm

Kids 400 M fun run: 6:10 pm

Youth 10 and under: 6:20 pm

Youth 11 to 14: 6:35 pm

Women Races:

Women 9:00 pace and over: 6:50 pm

Women 6:00 pace to 9:00: 7:05 pm

Men's Races:

Men 5:00 pace to 9:00 and over: 7:20 pm

Men’s elite mile < 5:00 min pace: 7:35 pm

The event is put on by the Next Gen Distance Team! with proceeds going to Waverly students on the XC team and other local charities. Michigan Running Foundation will be on hand to provide timing and results.

Join us on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 9:00am for an exciting new event that features the Country Mill Orchard & Cider Mill! After running past the sunflower fields enjoy their hard cider and fresh, homemade donuts. You can also pick fresh organic blueberries, peaches and apples. So come join us for the race and stay for the delicious food and drink. So, whether you are looking to run, walk or just enjoy the cider and camaraderie this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing. Youth Triathlon with age appropriate distances for kids 14 and under. The entire event is contained within Hawk Island Park. The swim is within the pre-set Hawk Island Park swim area with the ability to touch the bottom and with lifeguards present.

REGISTRATION IS BASED ON THE AGE OF YOUR ATHLETE AS OF 12/31/26, NOT AGE AS OF RACE DAY. This is USA triathlon rules.

Kids 6 and under: 25m shallow swim, 100m bike, 100m run.

Kids 10 and under: 100m shallow swim, 3 mile bike, .5 mile run

Kids 14 and under: 200m swim, 4.5 mile bike, 1 mile run

By participating in this race, all registrants will receive USA Triathlon Youth Annual Membership

Race entry includes race timing, a race Tshirt, finisher medals, swag bag, photographs posted for download and after race snacks.
