Join us for our FOURTH annual “Keyed Up 5k” walk/run on FRIDAY, April 24th, at 8pm, sponsored by the Vocal Patrons Association at GlenOak High School!

Our 5k is a relaxed evening event and walkers, joggers, and runners of all ages and abilities are welcome to join us! The 2026 edition features a return of last year’s popular "GLOW MODE", powered by neon, loud colors, and your own energy and style as you run, walk, or crawl along the course starting and ending at GlenOak stadium.

Back this year is the "fun run" for kids 12 and under who aren't ready to walk or run through the 5k!

This year we are moving away from timing all runners, and focusing on moving, music, and celebrating our choral arts programs together. The top 3 men and top 3 women runners will have recorded times and receive trophies, and all other participants will note their own times as they cross the finish line and join the celebration!

Vocal Patrons Association raises funds to support the vocal arts programs at GlenOak, and 100% of money raised goes to provide direct financial support for the choral programs throughout Plain Local Schools. We hope you will join us as we move in harmony together!

Join us for an unforgettable adventure that starts on Nimishillen Creek and ends at Gervasi Vineyard! Start at Martindale Park with a 1.5-mile kayak trip to the Middlebranch Trailhead at Spangler Ave, NE. Once you’re ashore, continue the excitement with a 2.5-mile run or walk to Gervasi Vineyard. Cap off the race with a pour of wine or a strawberry sage lemonade at the finish line and celebrate the day by enjoying the beautiful grounds of Gervasi Vineyard. Don’t miss this unique race experience combining nature, fitness, and fun! *Perfect for all experience levels.

Come join us for our second annual Race for a Legacy 5K to support a great cause! The event takes place on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, at Louisville High School.

• Registration includes a participant t-shirt!

• We will have a DJ, some first responder vehicles, and student groups to provide fun and activities before and after the race.

• The race starts in a neighborhood, takes participants on a paved trail, and ends in the school parking lot.

By participating in this 5K you will be donating directly to Legacy of Honor.

• Legacy of Honor is a 501 c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to serve those who serve us in our community.

• The focus is to serve, support, and help first responders, active military, veterans and their families.

• Legacy of Honor has 3 pillars that it focuses on. Operation Bootstrap, Operation RAK (Random Acts of Kindness), and being a Community Event Partner.

• Legacy of Honor's main focus in 2025-2026 is supporting our local hero's mental health.

The race starts/finishes at Louisville High School. The 5K is professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.

Race day registration and packet pick-up take place from 8:00am-8:45am.

The 5K run/walk begins at 9:00am.

Your contributions will help fund our biweekly outreach efforts, where prepared meals and vital health information are distributed to neighborhoods in need throughout Canton. Together, we can provide food and hope to the homeless, children, and individuals facing food insecurity. Every step you take helps us nourish our community and promote healthier lives for those in need.

Why Rae of Sunshine?

Raeann Guiley was a passionate, vibrant, and bubbly member of the Louisville community. It was her mission to create Umbrella Alley, a place "Where Smiles Happen". Her efforts helped transform Louisville's ugliest alley into a happy gathering place for all people.
