    The Oldest Half in Texas, it has to be Good!


    Formerly known as "Moe's Better Half", this oldest half marathon is probably older than some of us now! - YEESH! This San MARVELOUS race ventures through a beautiful prairie landscape with that infamous rolling hill. The start and finish are in the Tanger Outlet Mall parking lot where our festivities take place. As always, post race you can count on the explosion of excitement and fun that is our Scallywompus style after-party! After all, our motto is "Come for the race, stay for the party!"

    This not-so-sleepy town midway from San Antonio and Austin offers plenty to do for the rest of the day there whether you fancy yourself some more adult beverages, Tex-Mex cuisine, live music, shopping and all-around good times.

    So get signed up and make a day or weekend out of it!

    All finishers will receive a medal.

    Award categories are 1st – 4th for all distances.

    Age categories:

    14 and under, 15-20, 21-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+

    First overall male and female and first overall masters, male and female, and first overall super masters male and female will be based on Gun Time.

    All age group awards will be based on chip time due to needing to start in waves.

    Thanks for signing up for our race, sometimes things change and you have to transfer your race entry or change the race, we understand. Please understand that this takes time to make these changes and we charge $20 to make that change or transfer two days before the race. $30 to transfer the day before the race.

    No Transfers after race day. It doesn't mean we don't love you.

    2027 Fiesta Wildflower Ride

    Experience one of San Antonio's favorite spring cycling traditions at the 2027 Fiesta Wildflower Ride. Starting near Rolling Oaks Mall, riders will enjoy scenic roads through the beautiful north San Antonio region, featuring rolling terrain, fresh spring landscapes, and miles of enjoyable cycling.

    Whether you're looking to take in the scenery or simply enjoy a great day on the bike, the Fiesta Wildflower Ride offers a memorable ride through some of the area's most picturesque roads. Gather your friends, enjoy the outdoors, and celebrate the spirit of cycling during Fiesta season.

    Event details and schedule

    Ride Day Schedule

    Rolling Oaks Mall – Event Area

    • 6:30 AM – Check-in & Expo Opens

    • 7:45 AM – Rider Announcements & Safety Briefing

    • 8:00 AM – Official Ride Start (rolling start by route)

    • 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM – Post-Ride Festival, Food & Activities

    Safety First – Ride Protocols & Expectations

    The Fiesta Wildflower Ride is conducted on open roads and rider safety is our top priority.

    Rider Responsibilities:

    • Obey all traffic laws and signals

    • Ride single file when necessary

    • Stay alert and predictable

    • Yield to traffic and pedestrians

    • Use hand signals and communicate with fellow riders

    Required Equipment:

    • Helmet (mandatory)

    • Well-maintained bicycle

    • Water bottles (rest stops provided)

    • Recommended: rear light, flat kit, sunscreen

    Support & Safety:

    • Course marshals and SAG support on route

    • Rest stops staffed with volunteers

    • First aid available at start/finish and on course

    • Emergency contact number printed on rider bib/wristband

    Riders who do not follow safety rules may be asked to discontinue the ride for their own safety and the safety of others.

    Fiesta Wildflower Expo

    The Fiesta Wildflower Expo opens at 6:30 AM and runs throughout the morning.

    Expo Includes:

    • Bike shops and cycling vendors

    • Local businesses and sponsors

    • Community partners

    • Food & beverage offerings

    • Music and Fiesta atmosphere

    This is a great place to grab last-minute gear, meet fellow riders, and soak in the pre-ride energy.
