All volunteers arrive 1.5 hours before race start and check in at the Registration Tent.

π³ Course Terrain: Expect a mix of pavement, crushed granite, and some unavoidable dirt paths.

Goal Race: SARR Rocky Horror Trail Run
Distance Options:
53K / 27K: For adventurers and experienced trail runners, open to all paces to include walk/run.
10K / 5K: For runners new to trail running or who prefer a walk/run method.
Weekly Group Runs: Saturday 7:00am, Tuesday 6:30am, and Wednesday 7pm.
Flexible training schedule written by SARR RRCA Certified Coaches.
We train on natural trails at Eisenhower Park, McAllister Park, Government Canyon and other local/state parks and natural areas.
Free Basebuilder: June 13 - July 10, 2026 geared towards the 53K / 27K participants, but open to all.

2026 Triple Threat
Sunday, June 7, June 28, July 12

EVENTS BEGIN @ 8:00AM
The Triple Threat will be held at McAllister Park. The course infield (Start/Finish) will be in the open field between the dog park and the bike pump track.
The Triple Threat is a 3-event time-trial formatted series to test your fitness and work on your handling skills. This format aims to replicate the original intention of the Triple Threat Time Trial from years ago. Each event will be held on the same course, full of unique features and challenges of McAllister MTB trails. All proceeds raised by these events goes to San Antonio Kids on Bikes (a 501c3 organization) to support our mission of getting more kids on bikes.
Participant event start times will be published on the SAKOB Facebook page (SAKOB - San Antonio Kids on Bikes) by noon on Saturday before the event (June 7, June 28, July 12). Participants' starting time will be based on previous finish times of the current-year series. Exception for Race 1 will be based on age categories. First-Time and Day-of Registration participants will be placed at the end of the Adult Preregistered participants.
Course Distance: 9+ miles (3-5 miles for Kids 12 and under)
Pickup for Number Plates and Timing Chips begin at 7 a.m. on event day. Course route will be revealed on the SAKOB Facebook page by end of May, and then refreshed the week of the event.
NOTE: McAllister Park trails are open to the public and we cannot close or impede trail users. We ask participants to pass in a courteous, safe manner, and to call out "on left" or βon right.β Course will be marked with course tape, arrows and flour laid on the ground.
Single-Event Registration Cost:
Adults - $50 donation
Middle school and high school - $40 donation
12 and under (kids course) - $10 donation*
NOTE: 12 and under riders can request funding assistance via email ([email protected])
Onsite - Late Registration:
Adult, middle school, high school - $60 donation
12 and under (kids course) - $30 donation
Onsite registration ends at 8am sharp!
Triple Threat Cost:
All 3 rides for Adults - $130 donation

*Under-12 race fees have been subsidized by the South Texas Off Road Mountain-bikers (STORM) nonprofit organization.
Prizes: We will be giving out raffle tickets for all registered participants. Top 3 in all categories will receive additional tickets to increase odds of winning. Only one winning raffle prize per participant.
