Pride Starts Here: Charlotte's Official Pride Season Kickoff 5K

Pride doesn’t just happen - it’s built and sustained by our community.

For the first time, our annual QFW5K proudly benefits the Carolinas' largest Pride organization, the group that brings together LGBTQ+ people and allies from across the region and beyond for a celebration rooted in visibility, advocacy, and belonging, Charlotte Pride.

This event is the official kickoff to our Pride season. Before the flags fly, before the Festival begins, and before August arrives, we come together to take the first step.

This QFW 5K is for runners, walkers, families, allies, and anyone who believes Pride deserves to thrive. Every step directly supports the organization that makes Pride possible in Charlotte.

    Pride is a movement.

    So, let's move!

Join us and help start Pride the way it should begin - moving forward, together.
