10th Annual Jaime Pinaire 5K Race & Fun Run

5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon, 50K, 50M

The course will use existing fire roads, single track trail, hills and some pavement at South Mountain Reservation. The course is designed to be a mix of everything and fun. In early September, the course should be dry and run able. You will have access to aid approximately every 3 miles.

You can rally your local crew for the 2-person and 4-person team challenges, or step up to the ultimate endurance test: the DEKA FIT Ultra. Whether you claim one of the five boroughs as home or are seeking out the ultimate race-cation destination, this is your chance to conquer the 10 functional zones and 5km of running under the world’s most iconic skyline.

On Saturday, September 26, something powerful will happen when sneakers hit the pavement and purpose takes the lead.

At the I Run for Girls 5K Run/Walk event, community meets cause, passion meets purpose, and every participant plays a part in lifting girls up. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just in it for the fun, your presence makes a difference—and your steps help girls go further than they ever imagined.

And the fun doesn’t stop at the finish line! This event brings a vibrant, festival-like atmosphere for the whole family to enjoy. From a live DJ spinning upbeat tunes to keep the energy high, to free food and beverages to refuel and recharge, there’s something for everyone. Kids can dive into hands-on crafts and activities, while friends and families soak in the festive spirit. It’s more than a run—it’s a celebration filled with music, laughter, and unforgettable moments for all ages.

Go virtual! Run or walk anywhere between October 1 and November 1 and still be part of our anniversary celebration. Virtual participants will also receive free Zoo admission from November 2 to December 30. The Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation serves underprivileged and vulnerable women by ensuring the availability of top-quality breast-health services that include screening, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care.
