Waitangi parkrun Recurring

Founded in early 2023 in Wellington, New Zealand, Zone Blue Run Club has quickly grown into a vibrant community of around 200 members united by a passion for running and holistic well-being. The club began with local runners who valued connection and support. The crew meets regularly at Aye! Empanadas & More, fostering an inclusive atmosphere where all fitness levels are welcome. Zone Blue offers a variety of running sessions—from easy-paced 5Ks to ultramarathons—on scenic routes that showcase Wellington’s parks, waterfront, and landmarks. Emphasizing mental and physical health, the club blends social camaraderie with structured training, encouraging participation in local events like the Wellington Marathon. By integrating educational programs and charity initiatives, Zone Blue deepens its community impact while reflecting the city’s active outdoor culture. This approachable, no-fee crew invites anyone in Wellington or visiting to join a supportive tribe that celebrates movement, friendship, and the unique energy of their coastal urban environment.
