    2027 YWCA Women's Triathlon

Welcome to the 18th Annual YWCA Women's Triathlon!

As one of the largest women's triathlons in the contiguous United States, the event welcomes girls ages 11+, women, and non-binary individuals who identify with womanhood. Participants of all experience levels are invited to challenge themselves with a swim, bike, and run around Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis.

The YWCA Women's Triathlon is designed to be inclusive and accessible, featuring a para-friendly course for adaptive athletes. Athletes ages 11 and older are eligible for the SuperSprint distance, while participants ages 14 and older may compete in the Sprint distance.

    Offerings:

    • Robust training program for new and returning triathletes.

    • Scholarships to help remove barriers for first-time racers.

    • Relay, Buddy and Century team options.

    • Champion registration with enhanced race-day benefits.

Proceeds support the cost of producing a safe and welcoming race for 1,500 participants and the YWCA Minneapolis mission to eliminate racism and empower women and girls.

Online registration closes Friday, October 16th at 5:00pm. *On-site day of registration is $35. Each additional race is $10. On-site registration opens at 8 a.m. Sunday and closes 30 minutes before each event. We do not require any sort of license to race. This is an unsanctioned race.

Schedule is tentative and could change based on rider participation. Categories listed together at one specific start time will likely be started separately in short intervals between groups (depending on field size and officials discretion). Riders will be staged by their CrossResults.com rankings at the close of pre-registration. Riders registering on race day will start behind pre-registered riders.

Each category will have a podium ceremony with prizes approximately 15 minutes after their race.

Parking can be found around the perimeter of the park and off of Quincy Street NE. Contact the Race Director with questions about team tents at the venue.

Race course is 5 miles from downtown Minneapolis. We encourage bike trains to the venue.

Race results will be posted to BikeReg within 24 hours of the event to ensure racers' results are reflected for call-ups for future races.

All proceeds go to the Versus Team Cross Fund so we can host an awesome event for you next year.
