    Championship Race Rules

    • All participants must complete the full course to be eligible for awards, cash prizes, and official results.

    • Overall Male and Female cash prize winners are not eligible for age group awards.

    • The $50 Championship Mile Bonus applies only to runners in the Ages 8–12 Championship Mile who run 6:00 or faster.

    • Awards are based on gun time for overall winners and chip time for age group awards.

    • Race Director decisions are final.

    Please note that Lake Perris State Recreation Area charges an entrance fee of $20 per vehicle.

    Parking Information

    πŸš— Please arrive early. Parking at the Dam Area is limited and fills quickly.

    If the Dam parking lot reaches capacity, participants must park in the designated overflow parking areas within Lake Perris State Recreation Area.

    ⚠️ Do NOT park along the roadside or in unauthorized areas. California State Park Rangers actively patrol the area and may issue parking citations or arrange for vehicles to be towed.

    🚢 Overflow parking is approximately a 0.5-mile walk to the race start/finish area.

    We strongly recommend arriving early to allow sufficient time for parking, packet pick-up, and warm-up before your race.

Race Details Stay or Break, featuring Molcajete 1.0 Loop (4 miles +) run it as many times as your dare in 24 hours, the ultimate vertical challenge. 24HR "The Grind" is not about distance, it’s about what’s left when everything starts to hurt. This is a 4 mile+ Molcajete 1.0 loop that doesn’t care how you feel, how prepared you are, or how many laps you’ve already done. Every lap, you face Molcajete 1.0. You’ll climb it fresh. You’ll climb it tired. You’ll climb it in the dark. You’ll climb it when your body says stop. ***we are working on a potential new course, would include about the same amount of climbing but a longer loop, possibly 7 miles, which it might be better that way.
