  The event is intended to promote healthy living and wellness within the wider community, and we anticipate participation from both church members and the general public. We also aim to educate participants on the 8 pillars of health as incorporated in the mnemonic in NEWSTART:

  As we are located in rural community of Moruga, we are seeking to bring medical aid through health-related initiatives to families within our community, whose socio-economic challenges has limited their access to such. Part proceeds will support the procurement of blood glucose monitors, blood pressure monitors, first aid kits and other medical equipment to community members allowing them improved monitoring and control of chronic lifestyle diseases afflicting them.
