Here, participants aren't looking to sightsee while running; they're aiming to set a record on the 42.195 km of a nearly flat course, with only a few meters of elevation gain.
Runnersheep started in January 2022 when two friends born in 2003 decided to create a running crew for their generation. Built around the idea that shared birth years create shared references and real understanding, the crew brings together Seoul's 2003 generation, all marked by the sheep zodiac sign, their collective "DDI." What began as two friends has grown to around forty members, with the crew meeting every Tuesday at Jongmyo Shrine to run five to seven kilometres through historic Seoul. For Runnersheep, running isn't just exercise, it's a way for the same generation to learn, grow, and build community together with honesty and energy.
KALEG Running Crew has been gathering Seoul's sports-minded community since March 2013, born from a vision of shared movement and genuine connection. Over a decade, the crew has rooted itself into the city's streets and rhythm, growing into a community that believes sport is better lived together. With a user-driven model that puts members at the centre, KALEG shapes everything from routes along the Han River and Namsan slopes to the gear they trust. Open to everyone, the crew brings together Seoul's curious, active, and welcoming runners, building an honest, unpretentious vibe on shared miles and real conversations. Each run is a firsthand experience of the city and the community that has called it home for over ten years.
UCON Seoul started in April 2014 with a simple but powerful question: how can our energy be spent on something meaningful? From Namsan hill, founders built a movement around a guiding principle, share the value. Today, the crew brings together around 200 runners who donate 400 KRW per kilometer each month to support children in need. Every kilometer counts. What began as a search for purpose has become a community bound by breath, emotion, and collective action. Wednesday nights along the Han River and Namsan offer the pulse of the crew. Bi-weekly, they return to Anjung-geun Memorial Hall, honoring the origins of their journey while looking forward to the next step.
Boramae Track Running Crew began in October 2018, when founder Jake brought runners together at Boramae Park in Seoul's Dongjak district. What started as a gathering at a well-lit track has grown into a 190-member strong community where new runners and experienced athletes share the same loops, encouragement, and post-run conversations. The crew believes running transforms more than fitness, it builds discipline, confidence, and the rare kind of connection that only comes from doing something hard together, consistently. Every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 pm, the crew meets at their home base, ready to run.
