Fort Gordon 10M - Army 10-Miler, a Ten-Mile Race Event, is designed to select the male and female Fort Gordon Representatives at the Army Ten-Miler Race in Washington D.C.

Community and Fort Gordon support continues to request to participate in this Awareness Run.

Awards – Top 3 Overall (M/F) and Top 3 in Age Categories (M/F)

Selections will be made for the Fort Gordon Army Ten-Miler Team to those Active-Duty Service Members that will be stationed on Fort Gordon through October.

The event starting time is 0630.

Event Pricing:

10M Non-competitive participants and Children 17 & under: Free (not eligible for chip timing or awards)

10M Competitive participants: (includes chip timing and Awards)18 and over: $10 per participant

**17 & Under, if they choose to be timed, Free

All participants can purchase shirts during registration for $10-11 per shirt.

Will be in support of the Fort Gordon Strong B.A.N.D.S program. (Balance- Activity- Nutrition- Determination- Strength) Army installations world-wide are banding together for the annual Strong B.A.N.D.S. campaign in recognition of “National Physical Fitness and Sports Month” during the month of May. Participants will be given Strong B.A.N.D.S. wristbands that symbolize the community's commitment to a healthier lifestyle.

General Information:

  • Packet Pick Up for the event will be on event morning from 5:15AM to 6:15AM

  • All runs are open to the general public. Individuals who do not possess a Department of Defense (DoD) ID card will be permitted entrance onto the installation

  • If you do not have a DOD ID Card, you must register for base admittance at https://pass.aie.army.mil/steps/branch_selection at least 24 hours prior to the event. Choose the visitor's pass option.

  • All running organizations are invited and must be pre-registered for the event.

Directions – From Gate 6 participants will need to make their way to Barton Field by going down 107th go through two roundabouts, turn left onto 15th Street, turn right onto Lane Avenue, at the next roundabout turn left onto 25th Street, turn right onto Brainard Avenue, and parking will be available on the left on Barton Field.

    The Tri My Best Triathlon is an adaptive swim, bike and run event hosted by Tri My Best, a local nonprofit supporting the special needs community. At this event you will find adaptive bikes made to support individuals with varying disabilities, a therapeutic pool experience with swim instructors and a space to run, walk or ride. We have a team of volunteers who are eager to assist, cheer and encourage your athlete through every step!

    What you should bring:

    • Personal mobility equipment: walkers, gait trainers, wheelchairs

    • Adaptive bike (if owned)

    Participants will make their way on a route which will begin 25th Street at Barton Field (check in is at the Softball complex on Barton Field).

    The Fort Gordon Color Run 5k event is designed for people of all ages and athletic abilities. Runners and walkers alike are welcome to join in for a morning filled with color, fun, and music. Colored powder will be thrown at every kilometer.

    Race Site – 25th Street and Barton Field (check in at the Softball Complex on Barton Field)

    Parking – Along Barton Field, Indoor Pool, Signal Theater, Luketina Hall, and Snyder Dental

    Directions – From Gate 1 participants will need to make their way to Barton Field by going down Chamberlain Avenue and taking a left at the second light at Kilborne Street. Turn right onto Brainard Avenue, go through the next light and continue straight through a three-way stop sign at Brainard and 28th Street and then a four-way stop sign at Brainard and 25th Street. Parking is available at Building 24501, the parking lots on the left prior to the previous four-way stop sign, across the street from Building 24501, as well as what's mentioned above.

    Awards – There are no awards, as this is an un-timed fun run

    Finisher medals will be presented at the completion of the event.

    This 4 mile course will be a challenging off-road route with more than 30 obstacles, a stream crossing, hills and of course MUD! Old clothes and shoes or boots are recommended (hint: pockets will fill up and pants without draw strings will come off). Bringing a change of clothes is highly advised.

    • The competitive categories are reserved for athletes legitimately in it to win it that can run the entire course and complete every obstacle.

    • You will be registering individually. If you want to run with friends, make sure to gather and race at the same time.

    • Every runner will be timed using electronic timing.

    • Must be 13 years of age or older to enter. However, we can waive this requirement with parent /guardian approval.

    All proceeds from the 2025 Marine Mud Challenge will directly benefit the service members and families of the Fort Gordon community. Thank you. We greatly appreciate your continued support!

    Volunteers Needed!!

    We will need volunteers to help with many aspects of the event from lining up cars in the parking lot to passing out water on the course. Please register using the volunteer option above and select the options for what you would like to help with and when you will be available. A coordinator will contact you with details.

    • Gate 6 is the only gate available to people without DOD ID cards.
    • All non-DoD pass holders must register at least 24 hours in advance at :https://home.army.mil/gordon/des/visitor-information/visitor-preregistration for a visitor pass. Choose Army>Ft Gordon >Visitor Pass and be sure to select for base access to start on packet pick up day!
    • All vehicle occupants over age 16 must show valid picture ID at Fort Gordon gates.
