Cycling Group Ride Run Triathlon

Come join us for a bike clinic before you kick off your multisport season!

All winter we've all been inside on the trainers (or not riding at all!), and we need to bridge the gap between inside strength and endurance work and outside balance and handling skills (ESPECIALLY for those of you who are new to group rides or aero positions). Be prepared to do some handling and turning drills, spacing drills, overtaking drills, and then go and test out your skills in the "lab" as I call it, with natural road turns, close riding scenarios, and organic obstacles to dodge (hello, pothole season!). After our bike session, the triathletes can brick a short run and then enjoy a snack back at the park!:

The clinic will be conducted by Anne Fitzpatrick who is one of our ambassadors . Anne is the head coach of Farm to Finish Line; Level II USA Triathlon Coach, Level III USA Cycling Coach, NASM-CPT Certified Personal Trainer.

Address and Directions

Please note that the park itself does not have a physical address. The address listed is for the police station next to the Park. You can try typing Elk Township Recreational Park in your GPS. However that may not work on some GPS systems. You may also use Aura Elementary School which is across the street from the park.

We will be setup in the back of the park.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What time does the race start?

The first wave of runners begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by the second wave at 10:05 a.m. New this year, all in-person runners must check in between 8:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. to receive their assigned start time.

    Why are there two waves?

The two-wave system allows us to accommodate more participants on race day. This helps reduce crowding on the course and ensures a smoother race experience for everyone.

How and when will I be assigned my wave?

Wave assignments will be given during check-in at the Welcome Tent between 8:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Groups who want to run together are encouraged to check in at the same time to be assigned to the same wave.

    Wave assignment details:

    • Competitive runners will be assigned to the first wave.

    • Walkers and those running with strollers will be placed in the second wave.

    • Wave assignments are not based on pace.

    • All awards are determined by chip time. Your assigned wave will not affect your eligibility.

What is the cost of this year's run?

Pricing now includes the cost to ship your race packet. In-person and virtual option pricing is the same:

Early Bird Registration (ends February 20)

    Ages 0-17: $20

    Ages 18+: $35

    Currently-Enrolled Rowan Student: $25

    Registration (after February 20)

    Ages 0-17: $25

    Ages 18+: $40

    Currently-Enrolled Rowan Student: $30

How do I get my race packet?

Race packets for the Run for Rowan 5K are shipped directly to participants, with shipping costs covered by your registration. Packet pickup at the office or on race day is not available. This change has been made to support the event's growth and ensure a smoother, more efficient process for everyone.
