The Slug "Run" is a 0.5K event (less than 1,000 steps) that anyone can do. You start off with a donut from Hy-Vee for carbo loading, walk a few more steps and enjoy Freddy's Frozen custard, a few more steps will get you some pizza and at the end of the grueling race (1,000 steps) you will get a nice cool drink. Relax in chairs along the way, enjoy music, STEM activities, a station to make bubbles and face painting. Lots of fun for the whole family while benefitting the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. What a fun way to spend part of your morning!!
