PEDAL, PEDAL, PEDAL!

The 2026 DALMAC (Dick Allen Lansing to MACkinaw) Bicycle Tour is the 55th DALMAC. DALMAC is Michigan’s annual, fully supported, epic end-of-summer bicycle camping tour. Routes wind northward from Michigan State University on country roads and through quaint small towns, ending in historic and beautiful Mackinaw City on Sunday, September 6th. Additional routes beginning in Gladwin, Grayling and Waters also conclude in the shadow of the Mighty MAC in Mackinaw City. Each route varies in distance, providing just the right challenge for all bicyclists. The 55th DALMAC will once again include a gravel route.

Riders enjoy a fully supported tour that includes:

  • Mostly low-traffic roads with spectacular scenery, including Lake Michigan and the Mackinac Bridge

  • Rolling hills and downhill thrills

  • Ample opportunities to enjoy cookies, ice cream and homemade pie

  • A variety of breweries en route and in host communities

  • Friendly support vehicles (SAGs), if needed

  • Breakfast and dinner, with limited vegetarian options

  • Overnight camping, shower facilities, and baggage shuttles

  • Mobile bicycle mechanics

Things to know before registering:

Private Rider Support - Anyone providing private rider support services (Private Support) must register as a participant and register with the appropriate private support option. Private support options include:

Ø Private Support with Meals – the registrant is not a rider but is providing support services for a registered rider. The registration provides the same access to the facilities as the riders have, including meals and showers. In addition to the registration fee, a vehicle permit is required and is automatically added to the registration. Each person in the private support vehicle must register separately. Registration is route specific.

Ø Private Support without Meals – the registrant is not a rider but is providing support services for a registered rider. The registration provides a vehicle permit to be onsite at camp in designated areas. Registration does not include meals. Access to shower facilities is limited to after 8:00 p.m. each day. Registration is not route specific. In addition to vehicle permit, registrant also needs to purchase access for each occupant of the private support vehicle (including the driver) in the products and merchandise section of the registration.

None of the routes will be crossing the Mackinac Bridge. All routes will end at Mackinaw City High School.

The deadline to purchase any DALMAC clothing or SWAG is June 23, 2026. The deadline to register for the 2026 DALMAC and purchase a return bus ticket is July 31, 2026.

For more information about each route and overnight locations, go to DALMAC.org

If you have any questions, please email registrar@dalmac.org. Please allow 24 - 48 hours for a response.

Join us for Miles That Matter on Saturday, May 16, an outdoor community fundraiser in downtown Leslie supporting local athletes with special needs, hosted by BOSS Cider and CrossFit AFK.

This event brings our community together to move with purpose and raise money that helps provide funding for competitions, jerseys, and life-changing opportunities for students with special needs in Ingham county.

Participants can choose how they want to make their miles count:

    • 🚣 Row-A-Thon – Grab nine friends and work together to row a marathon.

    • 🚴 Bike a Metric Century – Take on the challenge of riding 60 miles as a team. Riders will work together to reach the century mark while supporting an incredible cause.

    • 🚶Pay-As-You-Go Walk (or run!) – Want a more casual way to participate? Join the community walk and donate to walk laps around the block surrounding BOSS Cider. Walk as many laps as you’d like—every lap helps raise funds and awareness.

We will have two heats for the Row-A-Thon and Bike a Metric Century events.

    HEAT 1: 10AM-1:30PM

    HEAT 2: 2PM-5:30PM

Whether you're chasing an endurance goal, supporting a loved one, or simply showing up for a great cause, every mile and every dollar raised helps create more opportunities for athletes to compete, grow, and thrive.

Bring your friends, family, and teammates and help us prove that every mile truly matters.

    RUN the scenic river trail

    PADDLE the beautiful Shiawassee River

RIDE through city streets and country roads

The mission of the Shi~Tri is to promote community fitness, provide a fun and challenging race that anyone can do and to support the work of the Friends of the Shiawassee River in their effort to share, care for and promote the enjoyment of the Shiawassee River.

The Shi-Tri is a Run/Paddle/Bike Triathlon beginning and ending in Downtown Owosso, MI along the beautiful Shiawassee River. Participants begin with an approximately 3.1 mile run/walk from downtown Owosso to McCurdy Park in Corunna. From there, you will launch your kayak or canoe into the river and paddle about 3.1 miles back to Owosso where you will then bike a ~9-mile loop through city streets and country roads.

This event can be completed by ANYONE! Treat it as a race and challenge yourself for a new personal best. Or, take your time and walk the river trail, float peacefully in your kayak or canoe and bike leisurely while enjoying the beautiful outdoors. You can even team up with friends to create a relay, divvy up the legs of the race, and complete it together!

An event like this also relies on the efforts of over 100, valued volunteers! Come join us in this wonderful, community-oriented experience as a volunteer-bring your family and friends!

2026 official routes will be posted in March 2026. You can see last year’s routes below for an idea of what they might look like!
