Race information:

Join in the fun for the second annual OLPH Fun Fest 5K. This is an out and back course. Entry fee includes race shirt, medal, early entry to the festival, one adult beverage (21+), or bottle of pop. This is a chip timed event. To guarantee a shirt, you must register by May 15th. Limited shirts will be available on race day for those who registered after May 15th.

The start and finish will be in front of the big Festival tent at OLPH on the bike trail.

Parking will in the small parking lot on Brookford Dr side of OLPH or on the side streets.

Packet Pick-up

Thursday, May 28th at OLPH in the Gym from 5-7pm. You will need to enter from Brookford drive and park in the small parking lot.

Late registration and Race Day packet pick-up 10am-10:45am.

From the Athony Wayne Trail, turn East on Sherwood, turn right on Glynn, then right on Brookford Dr, parking lot will be on the right side.

From River Road turn on Brookford Dr., OLPH small parking lot will be on the right side at the end of the road.

Celebrate Global Running Day with a 5K brought to you by the Toledo Roadrunners Club in partnership with Metroparks Toledo!

ALL kids 12 and under are free and should stay with guardians during the 5K. Children and families are welcome!

5K starts at 6:30pm. Also consider joining us at Kids Kilometers on June 6. Registration link - Kids Kilometers

The 5K course at Swan Creek Preserve Metropark was funded and mapped by the Toledo Roadrunners Club! Let's enjoy it together! It is an all purpose paved trail, great for all ages and abilities. The course consists of an upper loop (approximately 1.7 miles) with the balance being an out and back. If you don't want to run or walk the full 5K, come out and complete 1.7 miles!

The event is $5.00 for Toledo Roadrunners Club members and $10.00 for non-members. $13.00 unisex cotton blend shirt add-on (see shirt below). Shirt guarantee ends on May 24. Online registration only. Online registration will be open until the start of the event. During registration, you'll be prompted to fill in "I Run ..." Let us know why you run! Have fun with it! It is optional.

Check-in at the Mary Jane Gill shelter. Check in starts at 5:30pm. The shelter is located south of the playground. Use the parking lot off Airport Highway.

There will be a clock set up. There are no awards.

Water and snacks will be available at the conclusion of event. There will also be some giveaways!

Do to the low cost and the t-shirt being an add on, race insurance is not offered for this event.

Mercy Health – Toledo will provide onsite medical support.

The Old West End Stampede is back and even more fun! Come join in on the excitement of the Old West End Festival by running the Old West End Parade Route right before the Parade! Feel the thrill of having hundreds of spectators cheer you on as you run down the Historic Streets of the Old West End! Join in on the pageantry of the King Wamba Parade and wear as much Swag/Flair as you want! Stick around after to enjoy the Parade, celebrate with the race winners, and take in the Old West End Festival!

This is a timed race with Bibs and Ankle Chips (that are returned at the finish line)!

Prizes for the top finishers!

• Top 3 Finishers in the following Age Groups: Men, Masters Men, Under 18 Boys, Women, Masters Women, Under 18 Girls

• Toledo Symphony Season Passes/Vouchers, and Dave's Gift Cards for the top finishers!

With a complete training plan crafted by Dave's Training Director, Bob Masters, and implemented by over 20+ enthusiastic coaches, you're in very capable hands.

Training the Dave's Way means joining a supportive and fun community of runners and walkers who are all about staying healthy, accountable, and motivated!

BEGINNER 5K & HALF-MARATHON PLANS AS WELL AS RUN-WALK OPTION

Looking to run your first 5K? With Dave's Beginner 5K program, you have a detailed plan that mixes walking and running together until you are out there running 3.1 miles on your own.

If you are someone who prefers to run-walk, we have a half-marathon plan with coaches who train using a run-walk training method for the half-marathon distance. This "open pace" training plan is also used for anyone looking to complete their first marathon, and goal time is not a factor.

REMOTE TRAINING OPTION (online)

The Training Tilt app has been such a game-changer for our remote trainers that we’re now making it an option for everyone in the program! One of its standout features is the interactive training calendar, which lets you sync your Strava account or Garmin device to keep your workouts organized and on track.

The Dave's REMOTE TRAINERS will receive weekly coaching advice and encouragement from Dave's Training Team on the Training Tilt platform.
