San Mar's The Great Bicycle Tour - TGBT XXXIX

Strokes, Spokes & Strides is a sprint distance triathlon located in beautiful Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. The inaugural event was held in 2015 as a celebration of the Waynesboro Area YMCA 100 year anniversary. Our goal was to create an event that would promote community spirit and welcome all levels of athlete.

The triathlon course can be completed as an individual or as part of a three person relay team. Athletes of all levels are encouraged to compete – experienced cross trainers, families as well as first time competitors.

The triathlon start, swim, transition area and finish are located at the Y. The swim portion of the event is held in the Y’s six-lane, 25meter pool; the bike and run routes will take athletes through tree lined neighborhoods and farmland throughout Waynesboro.

We’re also excited to offer two additional race day events: Aquavelo (swim/bike) and Duathlon (run/bike/run).

The Hagerstown Sprint & Youth Triathlon is a welcoming, community-focused race that brings athletes of all ages together for a fun and competitive day of multisport racing in Hagerstown, Maryland. The Sprint Triathlon offers a fast, approachable course ideal for both first-time triathletes and experienced racers looking to test their speed, while the Youth Triathlon provides a safe, age-appropriate introduction to the sport for kids and teens. With well-marked courses, supportive volunteers, and an energetic race-day atmosphere, the Hagerstown Triathlon celebrates fitness, family, and the excitement of crossing the finish line—no matter your age or experience level.

Run the Vineyards race series comes to the prestigious Rocklands Farm Winery in Montgomery County.

Join us for a scenic 5K run through the vineyard and farm and finish with a relaxing after party at their historic property. Create new memories and traditions with friends and family while enjoying the outdoors, healthy exercise, and wine at the finish line!

Race Features:

• Scenic 5K Course with a variety of spectacular views

• Chip-timed with instant results. Race start time: 9:00 AM

• Awards for top Overall and Age Group Winners (3 Deep, Male and Female ages (Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, every 10 yr.)

• Well groomed cross country style course with a combination of hard packed dirt, gravel, and grass trails.

• Friendly volunteers and hydration stations

• Professionally well marked course

• Walkers and children are welcome to participate.1 Hour time limit kindly requested. Need to be registered and start on time at 9 AM behind the runners for safety of all participants.

Packet Pick-up on Race Morning from 8:30 - 9:30 AM at "Good Day for a Run" Tent. Race starts at 10:00AM so runners/walkers need to pick up their race packet by 9:30 AM please. Race announcements start at 9:45 AM.
