Everybody Rides: All Riders. All Abilities. One Powerful Mission.

Everybody Rides is exactly what it sounds like—an event where everyone belongs on a bike. From first-timers to seasoned cyclists, we’ve got routes designed for all ages and abilities.

Bring the whole crew for our 1.6-mile route or enjoy a scenic 10-mile trail ride, perfect for families and riders new to cycling. Looking to push the pace? Choose from 29, 46, or 62-mile road routes built for experienced riders. And here’s the fun part our routes are flexible. Want more miles? Just add a loop (or two) and ride as far as you want.

Everybody Rides is more than a ride it’s a fundraiser for Project Mobility, a local nonprofit creating freedom through adaptive cycling for children, adults, and wounded soldiers with disabilities.

Something as simple as riding a bike can feel impossible for someone with mobility challenges. Adaptive bikes are life-changing but they’re also expensive. With your support, Project Mobility provides strength, confidence, independence, and the pure joy of movement to people who are too often told their lives are limited. Cycling changes that story.

Join us on Sunday, May 31st and experience the impact firsthand. After the ride, keep the celebration going at our Party in the Park, featuring an Adaptive Bike Giveaway, unlimited food, a beer garden, live music, raffles, and more.

Ride for fun. Ride for freedom.

    Everybody Rides.

    6th Annual

    HICKORY KNOLLS

    5K & 10K TRAIL RUN

    and 10K RELAY

The second installment of the 2026Dick Pond Athletics Darn Tough Trail Race Series is the 6th annual HICKORY KNOLLS Trail Run & Relay on Sunday, June 7.

Come out and run the grass and dirt trails over an approximate 3-mile loop course through a beautiful and diverse natural area. The first portion of the approximate 5K loop is relatively flat, while a couple of hills await in the latter portion of the loop. The route is very well marked, and the trail is primarily wide-track (allowing for easy passing or running alongside a friend) on dirt, gravel and grass.

You can participate in either the individual runner 5k (one loop) or 10k (two loops) distance or create a 2-person team for the 10k relay(each team member does the 5K loop once). All race distances are approximate.

The Hickory Knolls Trail Run is the second of four events in the 2026 Dick Pond Athletics Darn Tough Trail Race Series.

This event is sponsored by Dick Pond Athletics, Brooks Running, and Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling. Proceeds from this event benefit the St Charles Park Foundation.

    56th Annual Swedish Days Ride

    Registration is OPEN!

This is a cashless event. Please be prepared to pay with a credit card for day of registration.

New redesigned jersey is available now. Order here: https://via.primalcustom.com/collections/ts-15037

We look forward to growing our tradition to 1000 riders this year

As a reminder all net profits go to support local biking organizations and charities.

The Swedish Days Ride is the premier cycling event in Northern Illinois and the signature event of the Fox Valley Bicycle & Ski Club (FVBSC). Now in its 56th year, the Swedish Days Ride travels the quiet, scenic and relatively flat paved roads of rural Kane, Kendall and DeKalb counties, meandering through cornfields and through shaded thoroughfares.

The Swedish Days Ride offers six routes ranging from our Family Ride (12 miles) to the iconic Double Metric Century (133 miles), providing a “just right” distance for cycling families to competitive athletes. This year you can also create your own ride by combining colored loops.

The ride is fully supported with one centralized rest stop boasting AC/indoor facilities stocked with nutritional items, onsite morning emergency mechanical support and bicycle supplies, and roaming SAG patrol vehicles. With over 75 helpful volunteers, the Swedish Days Ride provides a superior riding experience to our goal of 1000 guests this year.

FVBSC donates all of the proceeds from this event to support organizations promoting safe cycling, education, advocacy, infrastructure development and cycling for people with disabilities, such as the Ride Illinois, Rails to Trails, Project Mobility, Easter Seals (bikes for kids) and Open Door. Our event has no affiliation with the Geneva Chamber of Commerce’s Swedish Days Festival.

Ride is rain or shine. Sales are final with no refunds.

While awards are given to the fastest in each division, the real winners are all the spirited students who bolt from the start and head towards every finish. Everyone receives a t-shirt and finisher medal. Park District athletic events are non-refundable. Registration deadline is September 20.

    A Beer 5K & St. Charles BrewFest

Hops for Hope is not your typical 5K. It is a race and a celebration all in one!

Named one of the Top 100 Races in America by BibRave, our certified and professionally timed 5K welcomes everyone from competitive runners chasing a PR to walkers who simply love great craft beer. However you pace yourself, this event is for you.

The race begins at the scenic Mount Saint Mary Park in St. Charles, winds along the beautiful river path toward Geneva through Wheeler Park, and finishes back at Mount Saint Mary Park just in time for the BrewFest celebration.

The Twist? Beer on the Course.

That’s right. Along the route, runners will find Beer Stops featuring local craft breweries serving 3-ounce samples. Weird? We prefer to call it deliciously fun.

    The Celebration Continues at BrewFest

After crossing the finish line, the party kicks off with:

    • 18 beer samples included with your registration

    • Live music

    • Food vendors

    • Raffle tickets for our fan-favorite Mountain of Beer

    • Our inspiring Adaptive Bike Giveaway Presentation, the heart of why we gather

    • Why We Run and Sip

    • Proceeds from Hops for Hope support Project Mobility’s mission to provide adaptive cycling opportunities for children, adults, and wounded service members with disabilities.

Over the past 9 years, this event has helped us donate nearly $80,000 in adaptive bicycles and we are just getting started.

Run. Sip. Celebrate. Make a difference.
