    For beginners to Olympians and everyone in between. For walkers and runners and all ages and abilities.

    Enjoy the Saanich Physio + Bazan Bay 5K as it runs along the oceanfront from Tulista Park, South for 2.5 kms and has one 180-degree turnaround.

    The very gentle up on the way out is hardly noticeable, and the gentle down on the way back is perfect to finish the second half of the race fast.

    Registration fee includes admin fee, but not 5% GST.

    The use of headphones of any sort is discouraged. While not banned, a participant can be disqualified for impeding another athlete, operations, or emergency services.

    9:00am 5K/10K 9:10am 2 mile

    Location: Skagit Regional Airport in Burlington, WA (about 4 miles north of the tulip fields)

    *There are no visible tulip fields on this run

    Day of Race Packet Pick-Up: Will be located at our race headquarters in the True North Bakery at 15426 Airport Dr. B, Burlington, WA 98233, beginning at 8 a.m.

    Timing: We will be chip timing for all races. There will be large clocks at the finish line so you can see your time as you finish.

    Changing race distances: If you need to change your race distance you may do so by contacting skagitrunnersrd@gmail.com. Race registrations are non-refundable.

    Awards: Every pre-registered participant will receive a finishers medal up to 400 participants. Special awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers.

    Each local craft brewery will supply thirsty participants with a sample of beer to keep them hydrated. Following the run, food and a pint will be provided by Craft Beer Market. (We have GF + Vegan and Vegetarian options available)

    Every runner will also leave home with a tall can of beer from one of the participating breweries.

    First wave is for anyone planning on walking the event.
