Join us for the Bluebonnet Run 5K/10K/FunRun in Ennis, Texas, held during the iconic Ennis Bluebonnet Festival. Known as the Bluebonnet Capital of Texas, Ennis offers a one-of-a-kind race experience through scenic routes that showcase the area’s natural beauty.

Runners will travel through a mix of open landscapes and peaceful park views, including areas near Kachina Prairie, Lake Clark Park and Dam, and the Ennis Municipal Airport, with portions of the course winding through tree-covered paths and wide-open stretches that highlight why Ennis is famous each spring.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best or enjoying a relaxed run or walk with family and friends, this event is designed for all experience levels.

All proceeds support CROME Nonprofit, funding mentorship programs, scholarships, and career resources that help local students achieve post-secondary success in both traditional and non-traditional pathways.

    Sisters Network Dallas Inc., 6000 Sisters, 6000 Steps for Hope, Breast Cancer Walk and Health Expo, "It's not just Pink it's personal" spotlights the 6,000 African American women who lose their fight with breast cancer in the United States each year. This event is a celebration of life for friends and family who are breast cancer survivors, an opportunity to remember loved ones lost to breast cancer, a chance to enjoy a fun healthy 3 mile (untimed) walk (approx. 6000 steps), and an opportunity to visit with healthcare and healthy living exhibitors.

    Proceeds from the walk support Sisters Network Dallas Inc. programs providing survivor support, screenings and breast health education in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

    No pets allowed at the event

    There is SOMEthing for everyone!

    After a record-breaking year in 2025, we’re ready to make 2026 even bigger! Choose your pace at the 2026 Some Run. Take on our fast and flat 5K run, enjoy a 5K walk, or go for a scenic shuffle around the pond. Ca$h prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female 5K finishers.

    All proceeds from the Some Run benefit the A-T Children’s Project and their mission to find a cure for A-T, a rare, genetic disease. Stop by the Faces of A-T display to meet the kids you're running in honor of.

    The fun doesn’t stop at the finish line! We’re bringing back crowd favorites like arm wrestling and raffles. After the race, keep the celebration going at Seagofest with live music, food trucks, and carnival rides.

    Where: Bruce Central Park, 1801 N Hwy 175, Seagoville, TX

    Parking: There is a large, free parking lot for Some Run participants. You must arrive by 7:30 am or the street will be closed. Volunteers will be directing traffic.

    Check-In: Follow the signs leading to the park gazebo, and you'll spot us there! Plan to arrive by 7:15 am for a 7:30 line-up. Free gear check is available.

    7:40 - 8:00 am: Opening remarks

    8:05 am: Some Run 5K kicks off

    Event Notes

    • Infants and toddlers under 36 months may participate for free if riding in a stroller and accompanied by a registered adult (no shirt or medal).

    • Participants registered after September 1, 2026 may not receive a shirt or medal.

    • The Some Run is rain or shine.


    Packet Pick-Up

    Packet pick-up is highly recommended so the race can get started on time. Packets will include a goody bag with an event t-shirt, race bib and more.
