Proceeds for this race go to the Friends of Lovers Key (FOLK) is a 501(c)3, state sanctioned, citizen support organization (CSO) that directly supports the mission of Lovers Key State Park (LKSP). We are authorized to raise funds in support of Lovers Key State Park's objectives through donations, grants and merchandise sales.

Historically, FOLK provides funds to cover budget shortfalls in Lovers Key State Park for items such as:

• Fencing and signs during turtle and bird nesting seasons.

• Cleanup and repairs after storms such as Hurricane Ian.

• We provide needed extras such as new mowers, tram cars and WIFI.

• Boosts LKSP's ability to offer community enrichment programs by recruiting a dedicated staff, and members that provide thousands of volunteer hours annually for basic park services and enrichment programs.

We’re thrilled to announce the return of your favorite Cinco De Mayo celebration! Join us for the third annual Cantina's CincoRita Run on Saturday, May 2, 2026—just days before the big holiday!

We will host three races including the traditional 5K and 1 Mile race and the crowd favorite, Margarita Mile.

This festive event will once again be centered around Cantina Laredo, where the post-race fun continues with a buffet breakfast/Brunch and unbeatable drink specials, including their legendary CincoRita!

Strides for Inclusion 5K Run-Walk-Roll presented by Pathways to Opportunity (PTO). PTO is a life skills development program dedicated to serving individuals with a wide range of disabilities, including Down Syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, schizophrenia, polio, and other diagnosed/undiagnosed disabilities. Our mission is to provide opportunities for these individuals to reach their full potential by fostering personal growth, independence, and community integration for all individuals, enabling them to thrive and reach their fullest potential and lead fulfilling lives. Frequently Asked Questions:

Is the race timed? Yes, it’s chip-timed.

Are there fun runs? Yes, untimed fun run participants start with the 5K.

Can I bring my dog? Yes, for an additional $10 added to your registration fee your dog will receive a CCSO EAF bandana. Your dog must be leashed, and you must start at the back of the race.

Are strollers allowed? Yes, but strollers must start at the back of the race.

Refunds: There are no refunds for this race. Race insurance is available at registration check out.
