Why a 7K? Doc Ford's iconic Yucatan Shrimp recipe features seven key ingredients: Shrimp, Butter, Lime Juice, Garlic, Cilantro, Sambal, and Salt/Pepper.

To celebrate this delicious dish, we're taking those seven ingredients to the streets with a fun, flavorful 7K race!

The Game On! ManateeMan Triathlon is scheduled for Labor Day Weekend 2026 at The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village in Cape Coral, Florida. This exciting event will feature Sprint and International distance triathlons as well as duathlons, catering to athletes of various skill levels. The Westin Cape Coral Resort provides a luxurious backdrop for the event, offering spacious rooms and suites with private screened-in balconies, many of which overlook the beautiful Caloosahatchee River and the Gulf of Mexico. The resort also boasts a state-of-the-art fitness center, two outdoor pools, a full-service spa, and on-site restaurants for a variety of culinary experiences. Located near Tarpon Point Marina, the resort offers convenient access to water activities and scenic views. With its well-equipped amenities and picturesque location, the Game On! Manatee Man Triathlon promises to be a memorable race experience. Participants are encouraged to register early and book accommodations in

advance due to the popularity of the holiday weekend.

Hello SWFL! After the incredible success of our inaugural Hispanic Heritage 5K, we are proud to bring you the Apex Promoz Second Annual Hispanic Heritage 5K—bigger, louder, and more vibrant than ever! 🇺🇸🇲🇽🇵🇷🇩🇴🇨🇴🇨🇺🇻🇪🇪🇨🇭🇳🇬🇹🇳🇮🇵🇦🇵🇪🇸🇻🇧🇴🇦🇷🇨🇱

Last year, over 300 participants came together to celebrate culture, community, and fitness with nonstop music, food trucks, and unforgettable energy. This year, we’re raising the bar and turning this event into a true cultural showcase.

This celebration is open to everyone and honors the rich diversity of Hispanic cultures alongside the unity of the American flag 🇺🇸. Participants will have the opportunity to choose the country they want to represent during registration, proudly showcasing their heritage or the culture they love.

This event is proudly hosted in collaboration with the Cape Coral Police Athletic League, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to support their programs and services benefiting local youth and the community.

Expect high-energy vibes powered by a DJ, an incredible atmosphere, and a celebration that goes far beyond a race.

RACE STARTS AT 7:00 AM

The Fueled by Fire 5k and Challenge is an annual event hosted by the Cape Coral Fire Department Community Foundation and offers fun for the entire family! Its' goal is to raise funds to further support the mission and efforts of the Foundation which include but are not limited to funding CPR courses and resources for the community, promoting fire and life safety education, funding a local firefighter memorial, and more. The 5k includes running or walking through beautiful areas of our city.

The event will be timed and scored by Lin-Mark Sports of Cape Coral Florida - runners/walkers will be able to sign up for texted results during the entry process.
