The 48th Bolton Road Race is a running event held on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

First run in 1979, the BRR has migrated through the years from May to March, but it has always included THE HILL, small town charm and beautiful vistas!
The Lake T Sprint Series has been the first race for many Iron Distance Triathletes. In its 25th year, this race continues to be the stepping stone for so many triathletes to get to the next level. Racks are first come, first serve, waves are male/female, and there is a relay division as well.
The 600 yard lake swim is followed by a 2 loop bike course with rolling hills. The 5K run is a beautiful course around the lake which has a few small inclines and downhill the last mile. Aid is available on the run at the town hall section.
**PLUS we offer a Super Sprint race for those looking to test the waters of triathlon! This will be a 200 yard swim, 5.5 mile bike (one loop) & 1.7 mile run.

PLEASE NOTE
No earbuds are allowed at any point of the race
Bikers must have their helmet on and strapped before leaving transition.
Bikers cannot mount their bike until they have reached Lake Rd.
Bikers must be at least 2 bike lengths behind the racer in front of you.
Bikers MUST ride their bike AS FAR TO THE RIGHT SIDE LANE as possible. They can only pass on the left(within the lane) and IMMEDIATELY return right.
No animals are allowed at Blish Park per the Town of Marlborough.

Race Features:
Chip-timed 5K Race starts at 9 AM. Live-streamed results from professional timer.
Amenities for all participants: Complimenary Glass of Wine, Run the Vineyards Stemless Wine Glass, and High Quality Tech Shirt included. Women's, Men's/Unisex, and Youth sizes or upgrade to a Women's Racerback Tank Top for $5 extra. Men's Tank available for no added fee. *Please register by July 26 to guarantee your first choice. Many extras are ordered and available while supplies last after July 26.
Souvenir Finisher medals are available for $8 extra during registration, or $10 on race day.

Besides the 5K, all participants will enjoy the post race party featuring live music, award winning wines, and food truck on the pristine grounds. Participants will receive a tech shirt, souvenir wine glass, and complimentary glass of wine. The event includes free photos and parking too!

Check-in: 8:30-9:30am
8:50am: Race Announcements
9am: 5K Begins
9:30am - Noon: Post race party featuring award winning wines, musician Jeff Przech, and food truck.
10:15am: Awards
Noon: Winery remains open for daily offerings
Walkers and children are welcome to participate. Registration required to be on course for safety of all participants. We kindly request 1 hour time limit for completing the 5K. Spectators are welcome!
