Join us on Saturday, August 15, 2026 for the Lena Brew Run 5k an exciting event that features an awesome course paired with excellent local craft beer provided by Lena Brewing. Whether you are a competitive Runner, Fun Runner, Walker, or just enjoy excellent local craft beer this is the event for you! The 5K Run/Walk kicks off at 9:00am. Lena Brewing Company Taproom will be open for pre and post race festivities!

The 5K Run/Walk kicks off at 9:00am. There will be a Beer Garden area on site for post race festivities compliments of Lena Brewing!

    This is a great event whether you are a novice runner looking to run your first 5k, or a seasoned competitor looking to beat your personal best time. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome to participate. The course consists of flat roadways and paths that wind through picturesque Krape Park. The race is also part of the Rockford Road Runners circuit. All pre-registered participants will receive an event T-shirt.

    Starting in the parking lot near mini golf and the baseball field, along Yellow Creek, past the Krape Park waterfall, and twin caves, over two scenic bridges then out the tree lined south entrance of the park and return. Refreshments and awards after the race int eh Gunkle Shelter. The course is certified by USA Track and Field (code IL-12088-JW) and recognized by RRCA.

    The Stockton 5k/10k run walk will take place at the Stockton Memorial Park on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Race registration will start at 7:00 AM at the Stockton Park House and pre-packet pick-up will be Friday, July 10th from 5-7pm at the Stockton Park House. We will have chip timing provided by J3timing with results posted during the event. We will provide snacks, subway cookies, and refreshments after the race.

    The Lincoln-Douglas 5K, One-Mile Fun Run and Kids Races combine a fun, fast, and competitive 5K race with a fun run and series of kids races that ultimately crowns the "Fastest Kid in Town."

    The course consists of three loops around the historic paved road inside Taylor Park – a 5K (3.1 miles), wheel-measured, certified course that is flat and fast designed to help you achieve a personal best.

    A one mile fun run involves one loop of the 5k course.
