The Stockton 5k/10k run walk will take place at the Stockton Memorial Park on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Race registration will start at 7:00 AM at the Stockton Park House and pre-packet pick-up will be Friday, July 10th from 5-7pm at the Stockton Park House. We will have chip timing provided by J3timing with results posted during the event. We will provide snacks, subway cookies, and refreshments after the race.

    Join us on June 6th in historic Mt. Carroll, Illinois for the Market Street Pizza Spirits Run, a 5K that blends small‑town charm, a touch of gothic atmosphere, and the energy of a summer Farmers Market morning.

    The race starts and finishes at Market Street Pizza on Market Street, right in the heart of Mt. Carroll’s beautiful historic district. Runners will head up Market Street past vintage storefronts and the Farmers Market area before climbing to Oak Hill Cemetery overlooking the town.

    From there, the course follows a quiet back path along the rear of the cemetery, with peaceful views and a true “spirits” moment, before looping back through town on neighborhood streets and returning to Market Street Pizza for the finish.

    This is a relaxed, community‑focused event — perfect for runners, walkers, and anyone who loves exploring Illinois’ hidden‑gem towns.

    Run from bar → cemetery → bar, enjoy your post‑run drink and snack, and soak in the history, scenery, and stories of Mt. Carroll.

    This USA Triathlon sanctioned triathlon at Coconut Cove RV Resort in southwest Wisconsin is a fundraiser for brain cancer research in honor of the late Dennis Dietzel. Funds raised will be donated directly to glioblastoma (GBM) research at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. There will be a youth race at 12 pm on Saturday followed by sprint and olympic distance adult races on Sunday. This early summer event is perfect for first-timers as well as competitive triathletes. The race starts with a calm, clean lake swim in the lake at Coconut Cove RV Resort. Riders will then be challenged with a hilly bike on quiet and beautiful country roads in Grant County. The run is rolling, and finishes on a path around the lake with an optional slip n slide at the finish line! All finishers will receive finish line food/drinks, a water bottle and finisher medal. There will be awards for the top 3 overall male and female finishers, as well as the top 3 finishers in each division.

    This is a great event whether you are a novice runner looking to run your first 5k, or a seasoned competitor looking to beat your personal best time. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome to participate. The course consists of flat roadways and paths that wind through picturesque Krape Park. The race is also part of the Rockford Road Runners circuit. All pre-registered participants will receive an event T-shirt.

    Starting in the parking lot near mini golf and the baseball field, along Yellow Creek, past the Krape Park waterfall, and twin caves, over two scenic bridges then out the tree lined south entrance of the park and return. Refreshments and awards after the race int eh Gunkle Shelter. The course is certified by USA Track and Field (code IL-12088-JW) and recognized by RRCA.
