  Where: Seville Quarter 130 E. Government St., Pensacola, FL 32502

  The race beneficiary is Vet's Wish. Course will open to traffic one hour after the start of the race. Timing for this event is provided by Good Times Event Services. Awards are given for top male/female/hand cyclist or wheelchair user overall finishers and top three male/female user in each age group. Water is provided during and after the race, and food and refreshments are available at the post-race gathering.

  Join BRACE for the 2026 Disaster Dash 5K Run/ Walk!

  Located in Seville Square, the Disaster Dash 5K will kick off hurricane season by helping raise awareness of the ways our community can be prepared before, during and after a disaster. The goal is to encourage everyone to become more disaster prepared.

  Route:

  This super flat course, a 3.1 mile run/walk through beautiful, historic downtown Pensacola will start and end at Seville Square.

  Race begins at 7:00 AM.

  Test your limits and set new PRs on this picturesque course.

  Strollers and registered service animals are permitted on the course.

  After Party:

  Following the race, join BRACE for the free family-friendly afterparty where you will have the opportunity to learn how YOU can be better prepared for the upcoming hurricane season! There will be a live DJ and booths from our sponsors.

  Proceeds from this event will go towards supporting Long-Term Recovery Efforts after a disaster, the Escambia Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), the Pensacola Fire Corps, and education opportunities that make our community more disaster resilient.   The 2026 Firecracker 5K will be held in historic downtown Pensacola and benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida. The race starts and ends at Seville Quarter and invites both runners and walkers to join the fun. Celebrate our Fourth of July themed race by wearing your red, white, and blue! Following the 5K is the Kids Fun Run. Pick up your finisher's medal and grab a drink to enjoy giveaways and more at our McDonald's After Party inside Seville Quarter!

  Registration Deadline: Please note that regular registration ends on Thursday, July 2nd at 11:59pm and late registration pricing of $50 will be in effect from Friday, July 3rd at 12:00AM until the race start time on Saturday, July 4th.
